Aboard the Normandy

Commander Shepard stepped into the Normandy, her breath calming as she took in the sight of her favorite ship. “Finally, I thought I’d have to sit through another session of Anderson’s lectures,” a familiar voice said.

Shepard looked down to see Joker grinning as he looked up. “Careful, Joker. I can still give you a lecture,” Shepard smirked.

Joker rolled his eyes. “Well by now you know what to do. If you have a location just punch it into the galaxy map. Also there’s been a tiny bit remodeling by the way, but it’s all pretty much the same otherwise. It’s closer to the design of when we were with Cerberus, though. There’s a virtual tour near your private terminal if you meed it.”

Shepard nodded. “Very well, thanks Joker. Good to see you treating her well.”

Joker nodded. “Yeah, just don’t get too sentimental on me.”

Shepard turned and walked towards the private terminal where Samantha was. “Hello, Commander. If you need any assistance just let me know,” Samantha said.

“So what’s new that I should be aware of?” Shepard asked.

“Well, everything is closer modeled to the Cerberus ship so there’s the lab on the Starboard side, armory on the port side. There’s Deck 1 with your quarters, which I will say, the shower has improved greatly,” Samantha said. “Deck 2 is obviously this level. Deck 3 has the Medical Bay, Starboard Observation which has a uh… hangover recovery area and a chess board, Port Observation which has a fully revamped bar and a table for games, the Main Battery, and there’s also the Port side room which has been repurposed to be a comms room and private lounge. Deck 4 is Engineering which also has access to the Shuttle Bay. That’s pretty much it.”

“Thanks,” Shepard said.

“You do have new messages also. And a dossier list of people of interest,” Samantha said. “And if you ever want to play a game of chess… let me know.”

“I’ll keep that in mind. Well, I see no reason to waste time. Let’s see. Hmmm so it looks like Miranda is on the Citadel, Jack is on Omega, Tali is on Rannoch, Garrus and Wrex are on Tuchanka, Ashley and Kasumi are on Illium, Javik is on Horizon, Jacob is on Eden Prime, Samara is on Thessia, Zaeed is on Virmire, and James is on Terra Nova. And of course… I know where Liara is…”

“Are you two not…”

“No.”

“Oh…”

“Hmmm. Where do I want to go first….”
