A trap

As you are walking up to the entrance, you accidentally stumble on a loose rock, and fall face first. Embarrassed and glad no one was there to witness it, you start to lift yourself up when you see the glimmer of a string right by your face. Nearly invisible, and about 6 inches from the ground, if you hadn’t tripped you would never have spotted this trap trigger. On your hands and knees you follow the string, discovering it was attached to a net trap.

Glad you’ve avoided that, if only by sheer luck, you press on into the dark entrance, much more cautiously than before. If the goblins had the skill to create such a well hidden trap, they could create more.

You walk through the near darkness until you can barely see. You have a torch with you, but you are unsure whether to light it, as it will give away your position.
