A total reset

“You alright?” Rebecca asked you. She was standing next to you holding a bottle of water, offering it to you.

“Yeah I think so” you replied, looking around. You were confused as to what happened, yesterday and most of today seemed to be a blur. You accepted the water and drunk it.

“Whats this?” Rebecca asked, picking up the remote.

“No idea” you replied. It seemed the drop and hitting reset made both of you forget about the remote.

“Its weird though” Rebecca continued, turning it over in her hand, “Look. Target buttons, very interestingly named buttons.”

“Yeah I see” you said, “Whats this button though?” you pressed a very small button that was embedded into the back, marked INFO.

Upon pressing it both you and Rebecca gasped. All the information on how to use the remote flooded into your heads.

“What the fuck” Rebecca whispered.

“Ditto” you continued.

“Noone else can know of this” she said, “This is awesome!”

“We dont even know if its real though”

“You pressed a button and we suddenly have information on a weird magic remote we found right after you had a dizzy spell. I think we can trust that this remote does what we now know it to do” Rebecca said.

“Lets test it then.” you suggested. You reached out the remote and made sure Rebecca was touching it.

“Any ideas?” She asked you

“Nope, but it seems there is a reset button. So, we can always reset.”

“Fire at random people and press random it is then” Rebecca giggled. It was a slightly evil sounding giggle if you were honest with yourself.

The buttons were pressed on the remote and you two looked around trying to find the victims. You were interrupted as the group started walking back down the mountain and back to the coach. It would be long enough to find the victims and mess with some more people.
