Who has a remote?

A strange man at the bar gives Barry a remote

Barry was sitting at the bar scrolling idly on his phone when a man slid into the high top chair next to him and placed a briefcase down onto the floor. There were several open seats down the bar, so Barry was a little annoyed that the stranger had elected to squeeze in next to him. It didn't really matter though, he would be moving to a table in a few minutes when his date arrived.

"Drinking alone?" The man asked, pulling Barry's attention away from his phone.

"For now. Waiting on a date." He answered pleasantly, turning back to his phone to hopefully indicate he did not want to talk.

"Oh really?" The man seemed to perk up at this.

"Yeah. She should be here soon."

"Hmm..." The man mused, then reached down into briefcase and pulled something out. "Well I won't keep you from your hot date, but..." The man placed something down on the bar between them, and Barry glanced down to see some sort of weird looking TV remote. "...if you two wanna have some fun tonight, show her this."

"Uh, thanks?" Barry let out a little confused laugh. "Does that thing have Netflix on it or something?"

"Or something." The man grinned, then glanced around the bar as if searching for something before he focused in or something to his right. "Here, watch this."

The man picked up the remote and glanced over past the end of the bar where a woman was seated alone in a booth reading a book. She appeared to be in her late twenties, probably a grad student like Barry from the nearby university, or maybe a librarian or teacher. She had shoulder length blonde curls with wire frame glasses accentuating her cute face, and was wearing a form fitting long-sleeved cardigan tucked into a plaid circle skirt that ended just past her knees. The booths in the bar had raised backs for privacy, and from this angle the woman was hidden from sight from almost everyone in the bar, save the two of them. The man discretely pointed the remote at her at pressed a button.

Over in the booth, the woman's eyes widened suddenly and a small tremor passed through her as she squeezed her legs together. She nearly dropped the book and quickly set it down as her other hand gripped the edge of the table. After a moment, whatever had just passed over her seemed to fade away, and she sucked in a slow breath. The woman looked down at herself with a confused smirk, before quickly glancing up to look around the bar. Barry turned away before she noticed him looking, and he saw that the man was sipping on a drink as if his attention had never been elsewhere.

"Pretty neat, right?" The man spoke out of the corner of his mouth with an amused tone.

"I...I don't understand. What just happened?" Barry looked from the man to the remote on the table.

"It wasn't obvious?" The man gave Barry an amused side eye before picking up the remote again. "Here, I'll show you some more."

The man once again discretely pointed the remote at the woman across the bar and quickly tapped a few buttons. Over in the booth, the woman had been reaching back down to pick up her book when she suddenly gripped the edge of the table again, this time with both hands. Barry saw her mouth drop open slightly with a pleasured twitch of the lips as her eyes fluttered back in their sockets. If she made a sound, Barry could not hear it over the drone of the bar. Her legs twisted beneath the table and her ass grinded against the leather cushion of the booth as, from what was now apparent to Barry, she was taken by an inexplicable and pleasurable orgasm.

It lasted longer this time, and after several more seconds of apparent ecstasy, her head dipped forwards slightly as tension seemed to ease out of her body. She looked up and took in a slow breath and ran a hand through her hair before once more glancing around the bar as she bit her lip. There was definitely a look of surprise on her face, but it seemed to be equal parts excitement as well. Barry once more looked back to the man before she caught him staring.

"What the fuck?" Barry laughed in a hushed voice. "Did you just...make her come with that remote?"

"Something like that." The man smirked.

The man then glanced back to the woman and Barry quickly did as well, his interest now undeniably caught as the man pressed another combination of buttons. The woman was still collecting herself when she abruptly paused and perked up slightly in her seat. She shifted on the cushioned bench and let out what looked like a surprised and confused laugh as she crossed and then uncrossed her legs. She reached once more for the book, but instead of picking it up, she just pressed her hand atop it and closed her eyes, the tip of her tongue swirling along the inside of her lip as if tasting something new. From the way she shifted against the seat and moved her hips, it looked to Barry as if some sort of unseen **** was currently playing skillfully between her legs.

"It's a fun little toy, this remote." The man looked back at Barry with a grin. "You wouldn't believe some of the wild things I've seen people do with them." The man paused and then pointed his thumb at the woman over in the booth. "Although most of the time people just need a little fire lit under them to get them acting wild."

Barry glanced back opast the man and saw that the woman appeared to be now packing up to leave. Most likely from the inexplicable orgasms she had just experienced or maybe from the apparent ghostly forces still dancing between her legs. He noticed the man move slightly beside him, and glanced down to see him press another button on the remote aimed at the woman. When he did, the woman paused her movements, then slowly arched her back as a look of confusion but also excited intrigue seemed to pass over her. She rolled her head back and traced her tongue across her lips before settling back down with a tiny shake of her head and what appeared to be a laugh. She then reached down and finished the last sip of her drink before sliding the book she had been reading into her purse. The woman had an excited, almost manic energy about her as she quickly tried to brush the loose curly locks that had fallen out of place during her moments of ecstasy. In the seat next Barry, the man suddenly seemed to be packing up to leave as well.

"Here you go, bud, it's yours." The man slid the remote across the bar towards Barry.

"I, wait what really?" Barry stuttered in confusion. "You're just giving me this?"

"Free sample." The man grinned and pulled up his briefcase. Barry caught a glimpse of some electronics inside, and what may have been other remotes. "Sorry to leave so quick, but I got a meeting I can't miss."

"Meeting? Uh, what - how does this thing even work?" Barry saw the man glance over to the woman in the booth before giving Barry a mischievous smirk.

"You'll figure it out. Besides, figuring it out is half the fun."

Barry was at a loss for words, all he managed to finally mutter was a simple, "Well, thanks! I think."

"I think your date will thank me more."

The man winked and then looked back over to the woman getting out of the booth as he slid out of his own chair. He slipped a hand into his coat pocket and seemed to fiddle with something inside before pointing it at the woman getting out of the booth. She had stood up and was standing at the edge of the table when her movements suddenly paused. Her back was to the two of them, and Barry watched as she bent forwards slightly, seemingly to grab her keys from the table, but she held herself bent forwards like that for a few moments, slowly swaying her hips. The man glanced back at Barry with a grin before casually walking over towards the woman.

Barry watched the man approach her, and when he neared she stood back straight and ran a hand through her hair. She turned to look at him as he stopped next to her, and there was a flushed and hungry look to her eyes. The man leaned down to the woman's ear and said something inaudible to Barry. She pulled her head back and looked up at him with a raised eyebrow before a little smirk creeped up the corner of her lips. She said something in reply to the man and Barry could see him chuckle. She then grabbed her purse from the table, and the two of them walked off towards the back exit of the bar.

For a moment, Barry was sure that he had just been pranked. The man and that woman must have been working together just to mess with him. He looked back to the bar and picked up the remote. It appeared to be some sort of universal TV remote with a small LCD screed at the top. The buttons and dials seemed to have nothing to do with a TV screen though. When he looked back, the man and woman had already vanished through the rear exit. There was no way this thing was real...right?

What's next?
