A short interruption

As you prepare to get back to the box, he pauses and reaches up to you, casting some sort of spell. He briefly frowns, and pulls out a large bag of money, from some sort of alternate dimension. You look at him quizzically. "Child support, in case you decide to keep the child. Not like contacting me is the easiest. If you do somehow manage to find me in the Beastlands though, feel free to." You look at him quizzically. "Ah, I do various contracts there." "But that should be enough money to raise the child if you spend it right. 2500 gold should be about enough, right?" And with that, you are left to your box.

Author's note: 1 gold is roughly equivalent to USD $100 in 2019 dollars (calculated using the price of bread). Also, Hades is lesser known as the god of wealth, although this would be much more well-known with his Roman counter-part, Pluto.
