A short break to relax and work out what to do.

After a few minutes looking through the schematics in the co-pilot seat, as Rin busies herself with the ships interface, to poke around in the setting, apparently that's a common pilot thing, but the screens don't seem to be in any coherent language, as you look over at the holo display and see the light display reel off a list of readings and numbers, all you know is Rin seems to know whats she's doing so you look down through the small data pad, and thumb through a few of the ships fuctionalities, or the ones you understand, top speed, max capacity, how much air the ship has should the life support die, the range of the sensors, all of which heavily annotated, but someone who seemed to share you lack of understandings of the finer science and mechanics behind star ship travel. You read through this for about fifteen minutes before getting up to go check on Eva.

As you duck under the doorway between the cockpit and the into the crew quarters, or rather the room with the table, and the room with the bunks, as you rather eloquently put it earlier, you might think about sprucing up the place a bit once you have ownership of the Free Will and sell on the small amounts of less than legal cargo in the holds, according to the cargo manifest that was with the schematics, it seems they had a small crate congaing 6 boxes of fine cigars from the old earth country known as Cuban, apparently they were lit on fire and the smoke and toxins ingested for some pleasant effects. You do see the occasional person partaking in the act, but mostly now it seems to of lost out to other stimulants and ****, with the wide variety of Alien compounds which were found to stimulate the pleasure centers in previously unknown ways, it seemed like scientist were tripping over the stuff with the amount that flooded in with each new frontier set up. The other reason the act died out, was the large number of oxygen rich environments needed in early day settling, made lighting any kind of flame a risk, and with companies not willing to pay extra to set up areas to accommodate the unhealthy past time, the industry fell on hard times, and now you only had one universal brand, and of course the several hundred knock off for the unscrupulous type, but fine products like the 6 boxes in your hold fetch a high price for collectors. The reason they are contraband is because they are classed as earth artifacts, and therefore deemed property of the core worlds, so they can stick them in a museum or maybe just lock them in a vault. Thankfully you know that you should be able to find a contanct who can help you shift them, and net a pretty hefty sum, which should help you fit out the ship a bit, maybe get a few upgrades, and overhauls, maybe make the bunks a bit nicer, and possibly getting the walls moved around to create a room for each of you.

You walk through the room with a table, you imagine the galley area, only minus any kitchen so literally a table some chairs and some storage lockers with rations, all the brown flavorless fibre, nutrients and protein and space faring girl could ask for. There was also a generous sized hygiene room, which you'll be fitting with a real shower as soon as you can, as the warm soapy rag and a sink just isn't cutting it for you, of course a meter down from the hygiene room is your toilet, its got a sink and a cold metal toilet, not much to say about it aside from it'll also be high on the list of upgrades. Both of those rooms were through a door out of the crew quarters towards the cargo bays, two large rooms for crates that can be carried and a much large bay, beneath the other two areas that you get down to via ladder or elevator, the large bay is accessible by a large ramp that folds down to allow small vehicles and loaders to shift cargo. of course beneath the crew quarters area you have your engineer area, where the engines and other electronics are kept, you might need to find a decent AI to help you, but you've got enough of a mechanical mind to follow instructions on how to fix things, so with some help and probably a lot of swearing you'll probably be able to repair and maintain the ship. The ship itself a large cuboid shape in a rectangular pattern, which had then been molded in an angular fashion that most human ships designers tend to default to when not dealing with the super rich.

You walk over to the doorway to the bunk room, and rest your arm on the door frame as you look into the room and see Eva asleep. You're not to surprised as she probably used an untold amount of energy in the fight to rescue the ship, you felt the strain yourself, as you felt fatigued just walking the few meters from the cockpit. "It's a Tourism and Trader station by the name of .... Frolic?....who names these things?" Rin says as she looks up the destination.

"Typically it gets a really boring designation, and then gets a nickname from the traders, and inhabitants, in either case, tourist and traders means they'll have some comfortable places we can rest up, I don't know about you Rin, but I'm tired in ways I didn't know a person could be, and who knows how long Eva will be out for." You say as you look through the window in the cockpit and watch as the vast emptiness of space drifts by, punctuated with brightly colored stars, and other formations in the incalculable distance, there's an classic beauty to space, possibly the optimist in you but you see all of those stars in the distance and think of opportunity and adventure.

"I wont argue that, I haven't had ship leave in months, it will be nice to sleep in a real bed again." Rin says with a smile as she closes the holo display and reclines her own chair.

"I think some good food, a good bed, a good hot bath, and maybe a nice massage are what I'll go for." You say as you picture the hot bath to relax in and nurse your aching muscles.

"Sounds really nice, its a shame we're still a few hours out. So if you want to catch some shut eye I can handle take care of things until we land."
