A second chance at life

A week had passed and Steven was at home now enjoying his new found life, caught up with friends, and his mum had planned a massive party to celebrate his recovery. But he felt there was something missing. He wanted to thank the person that saved his life. He had not yet had the chance to do so. So he decided to go back to the hospital to see what he could find out. All he got was a name. But on a whim, he gave the hospital his mobile number and asked them of they could possibly contact Ellen so he could give her his thanks personally. He also wanted to know why he was chosen.

Both Ellen and Steven had been benefitting from the nanobots that remained in their bodies. They worked in tandem with the immune system to destroy any viruses or harmful bacteria that invaded them and all were converted into more nano's. Both Ellen and Steven now had just over 8000 nanobots in their bodies. They stopped there so they would not saturate their hosts bodies.

A few days after the party, Steven was woken up by his phone ringing. "Hello."

"Is that Mister Dawson I'm speaking to?" A women's voice spoke.

"Yes, it is. May I ask who you are?" He asked with a touch a curiosity.

"By all means, but I think you already know. I was informed you wanted to thank me personally for your, new lease of life." That made Steven sit up sharply.

"You're the Dr that saved me?"

"I am. Yes. But I have to tell you there is no need to thank me at all. It's my job. It was something I have been working on for a long while, before I even had the facilities to do it. A dream of mine since I started uni." Ellen would have said more but she was cut off before she could.

"Please. It wouldn't be right if I didn't say it. I'd rather do it in person though. I mean, I have some questions I need answering too. Would it be at all possible to meet up and talk to you. I would really like to know why you chose me." He almost sounded like he was begging.

Against her better judgement, she decided that she would meet with him. It was left with Ellen saying she will be in contact at the weekend to arrange something and answer all his questions. Then the call ended. It was at that point that Steven noticed something odd with his laptop. A message. It read. "Do not be afraid. We will soon be able to talk to you through your thoughts. We have a proposal to make." The nanobots in the lab, as well as those in both Ellen and Steven's body were still connected to each other and had become a sentient conscience in their own right.

The next day, Steven heard a voice in his head. "Who's there?"

"We are. You will soon meet our creator and all your questions will be answered. However that is not why we have broken our silence and spoke to you through your mind. We want to make a proposal to you. We can give you everything you want, Everything you have ever dreamed off. You could become the very superhero the world needs if you so choose. We will leave you to take time to make your decision."

"I don't need to think about it. If it means helping others and saving those less fortunate, then, I'm ready to listen."

"Very well then. Leave us to do what we need to do."

"What are you going to do to make it possible?" Stevens mind was reeling. Was he going mad or was this a side affect of his cure?

"We will completely redesign your body internally to make it stronger, more resilient. Your strength will be increased greatly. We can improve you mental capacity to proportions greater than mankind could ever think possible. You will be the saviour of your race, before the governments of this world lead to it's destruction. With your permission, we will now proceed."

"You may proceed." They then set to work.

The nanobots in Ellen's body by this point had already gone as far as they did in Steven's body. They had improved her reproductive system to make it as fertile as efficiency would allow. She would find it easier to orgasm. Produce more noticeable pheromones if she wanted too. Which wasn't very often considering her drive for her career. Steven too could produce more noticeable pheromones if he liked a girl enough to want her. But they were secretly doing the same thing in Ellen's body, knowing that they should not break silence with her.

The weekend was soon upon them. Ellen phoned Steven as promised, and they arrange for the next weekend.

That weekend would approach fast. In the time in between, the nanobots in both Steven and Ellen's bodies had finished their work but somehow, is of by magic, they managed to suppress everything until they had finished doing other things.

Ellen in the meantime had carried on as normal until that Saturday morning. For some inexplicable reason, she wanted to look good when she met Steven. Not like a D.R. But as a young woman. She eventually settled on a short black skirt and white blouse. She always wore more sexier underwear, but that was girls her age anyway, so ordinary really. She also wore some knee length leather boots with stiletto 's and her hair loose. When she looked in the mirror she realised. "Oh my god. I look fucking hot." She mused. "I forgot about the Uni days. All those guys falling over themselves." Laughing as she thought about it. "I can see why now. Hell, even I'd do me." Chuckling to herself.

That Saturday morning, Steven had heard back from the nanobots. "Are you ready to become your worlds saviour."

Steven simply replied. "Yes"

"When we are ready, and we can make sure that you are definitely certain. We will initiate your improvements upon you. Show mankind the way."
