A potentially valuable pawn

I moved my gaze to the door of the carriage in a smooth motion, as to not portray hostility or surprise. The door was barely opened, I could not see more than a thin, white-gloved hand firmly gripping the handle. I chuckled to myself, 'I suppose it's fair to be cautious, but after what I just did, they think they could hold the door closed?' "I am a humble traveler who seeks no further conflict. As for my indecency... well it's a quite long story, and I suppose I must be rude as to ask you for something to cover myself with." I attempted to make my tone formal yet friendly. I was skilled in such pleasantries, though this was quite the new situation for me.

The figure on the other side hesitated for a while. I began to hear at least one other voice inside the carriage, though I could not tell what they were saying. After a good couple minutes, the door was pushed open and a young woman (probably in her mid 20s) in a fine red dress was revealed to be the one at the door. "I thank you, dear traveler. If you had not intervened, I fear what would have happened to us." She gave a slight bow to me as she spoke, clearly making every effort to not look at my exposed form. I focused on her as she spoke, which seemed to activate the HUD.

I smiled and returned her bow with a greater one. While bowing forward, I responded. "It was nothing, they came at me first, I simply defended myself. Regardless, it was an honor to be of help to a noble such as yourself, young lady Normn." As I lifted from my bow, I saw a look of mild surprise upon her face. "Now, I do hate to make of a request of you, but as previously mentioned, I am in dire need of coverings."

To her credit, she was quite quick in snapping out of her shock, as she quickly turned to someone in the carriage. "Yes of course, we can spare an outfit, it's the least we could do." There was a somewhat disgruntled conversation within the carriage, before a suit was passed forward to Millana and from her to me. She blushed slightly as I delicately took the suit from her, giving her a nice bow again. As I began to put the outfit on, I caught her admiring my physique out of the side of my eye. She lingered for a moment on my quite gifted member before catching herself and looking back to my face, which I made sure was not facing her at that time. "Now that you are... decent, would you mind answering a few questions?" 'She got straight back to the point, quite admirable focus there.'

"Of course, lady Normn. Though, I imagine we both have things we must do, so it would be best to keep it short so we can both get back on our ways." I responded with a slight nod at the same time as a head tilt, meant to express an acknowledgement of authority as well as a stressing of my statement.

She wore a contemplating expression for a few moments before addressing me again, "Perhaps you could join me in my carriage? It would surely be faster than you walking where you must go, and even if Wodegta is not your destination, it would most likely be easier to get there from the capital of my father's lands. Not to mention, you accompanying me would most surely make the travel safer." She gave me an expecting look after finishing her speech, as if I was under a form of test. I nodded with an inward chuckle, 'She has quite the skill in social situations, setting me up in a way that is hard to avoid scrutiny for not following her decision, while also stressing her authority.'

"It would be my honor to accompany you, lady Normn. And my objective is no further than the nearest town, Wodegta would most certainly be a fine destination." She accepted my response with a slight nod, and moved to sit down inside. I followed into the carriage, glancing around as I did so.

Inside the carriage were two other people. One appeared to be a maid with slightly pointed ears, indicating she was a half elf. The other, was a young man in some studded leather armor and a sword at his side, which he rested his hand on as he watched me with a semi-glare. The young man was sat next to Lady Normn, and while the maid had been across from her, she scooted to the side to give me the space. I sat down in a somewhat elegant fashion before asking the group a question. "I do believe at least one of the assailants is still alive, would you like me to bring them for some questions?"

The young man quickly stood up before addressing Millana, "I shall handle it my lady! I will make sure the men back home will pry whatever information they need from these twisted bandits!" He quickly moved out of the carriage before she could reply, and I could hear him moving about outside.

Millana gave a sigh before giving a shout out of the carriage, " If you would not mind, may you take the place of the driver?"

"Consider it done, my lady!" The reply was quite swift from the man. 'Quite eager to please, isn't he? perhaps I can use that later...' My thoughts were interrupted when Millana turned to me, "So, what has brought a warrior such as yourself to the Normn barony?" Her statement and tone enforced that she was quite sure I was not from here.

"Warrior?" I gave a friendly laugh, "no, lady Normn, I am but a lone priest, seeking to spread my faith."

The maid beside me looked at me quizzically, "A priest? I've never heard of a priest with a body like that." She mover her head a bit closer as if to get a better look, though she was only sitting a foot and a half at most from me. "Is it some form of illusion or enhancement magic then?"

"I can assure you, there is no trickery or enhancement involved, what you see is the result of hard work and labor." I then added, "you may test my words, if you wish."

It seemed that was enough to encourage the young maid, as she moved her hand to poke my arm. After finding it to be quite solid, she moved to grip it. Her eyes went slightly wide as she massaged my bicep with her grip, getting carried away before Millana gave a slight cough. "Isabell, perhaps you should move to my side." Though worded in a way that could be a question, the statement was quite clearly a command. Isabell quickly snapped out of it before nodding and getting up to switch sides of the carriage. As soon as she was fully up, the carriage jolted to a start, causing her to fall forward into the seat, leaving her rear quite exposed. She was wearing white panties that did nothing to hide her quite decent ass, with thighs that suggested she lived a comfortable yet still commonly effort inducing life. After catching a quick glance to satisfy myself, I made an effort to turn my head away from her and to the door of the carriage.

She quickly fixed herself upright, an immense blush turning her whole face red. After taking a second to notice my diverted gaze, she addressed me with a smile. "Thank you, priest, for having the decency to look away." soon after finishing her sentence, she diverted her own gaze downward in embarrassment.

"Of course!" I replied with a grin as I turned back to face the pair. "after all," I gave a glance towards Millana, "It is only right to respect ones dignity by not taking advantage of their exposedness." Millana turned an even deeper shade of red than her servant before she too averted her gaze.
