A noble paladin knight, who just so happens to be a goblin girl

The one going through the entrance causes a bunch of people to make a double take, at first they just assumed it must had been a dwarf or very small human who had taken the class of Paladin, but then they noticed her face was green and recognize she was a goblin.

A paladin goblin was unheard for, most churches wouldn't allow them thinking they're filthy and naturally evil creatures but this one had a peculiar upbringing, As a baby she was abandoned in the woods and a traveling pilgrim encounter her as she cried, taking pity on her he took her back to his temple which also ran an orphanage.

They gave her a name taken from an ancient dead language, Viridi, making reference to her green skin, the kids there saw each others as brothers and sisters, and Viridi was no exception, the nuns raised them to be tolerant and open-minded, the place in general was so pleasent that most kids didn't really cared if they weren't adopted, some even decided to stay even until reaching adult age, becoming priests of nun, but Viridi had a different goal in mind, the church also trained soldiers for their goddess, Lux, the goddess of light, since kid they told the kids of Saint cross were told stories about the great feats the paladins that came from their church had accomplished and Viridi dreamed of one day becoming a legendary paladin hero just like them.

She didn't even grew disheartened as she feared when they told her there had never been a goblin Paladin before that just motivated her even more to become the first one and break that glass ceiling, she was trained in the art of swordmanship and of white holy magic, by the time she was an adult she felt confident to leave the nest and venture herself into the world, she knew the natural first step was to join a guild but she quickly learned most didn't accepted her kind, she was actually surprised of how much meaner the real world was to her kind, most didn't just say no to her wish to join them, they even openly laugh at her and mock her for even trying to take the role of a paladin or call her insults and slurs she didn't even knew exister previously.

Each insult just increased her resolve, it wasn't just about serving her goddess, honor her church and family or reach her dreams, now it was also about proving all those bigots wrong, as she heard that one of the most prestigious guilds, Flaming phoenix, had just open itself to accept any race, she had to hurry to check it, she even came in with her information already write down wanting to get the registration done as soon as possible.
