A message delivered, and a tale speard far

I stared as she looked back at me with great fear, it then became terror when I walked up to her. And then comes confusion, as I started patching her leg up. "Do not mistake this as a moment of regret, or as a moment of redemption. You will tell others like your kind that they are to stop, or I will make them stop much like I did your group." I told her, to which she hastily nodded.

I left her be while moving the corpses to an area in the forest. Then I started striping them of anything that seems valuable. There’s rations of food, a week or two in total. Three Revolvers, the women took one as a sign of remembrance, and three holsters, three swords, two sabers and a rapier with respective sheaths, 40 rounds for the Revolvers, and a bullet belt, she took the other one. Five pair of leather boots, three sets of leather gloves, and five bags of Solid Gold, Silver, and Copper coins.

While most of them disappears in my pack, only the rapier wasn't able to be stored. So I had it strapped on my hip, opposite of my saber. With that situated, I took my journey to the town in the distant.

When I got close to the town, there's a group running towards me, armed with shields and spears, and protected by armor. The ones in the front had their shields up and spears jutting out in between the gaps. Well, looks like I need to disperse them before I have to engage in combat. And that was solved by simply firing my rifle into the air a couple of time. They practically fell over each other as the ones in front stopped in their tracks.

"What do you gain by attacking me?!" I asked them as they got back up and spread themselves into an arc formation before me. One of them, the tallest of the group, answered back.

"We heard loud explosives going off in the distance, and our scouts spotted fighting in the direction you came from. You must be one responsible for the bombs going off, and the **** of a group of travelers." They told me, spear and shield in a defensive position.
