A knock at the door

As the sound echoed around the room you had to wonder if Anastasia was going to maintain her exceptional timing. Edin pouted as he climbed out of bed and took out his uniform. As the both of you dress there was another knock. You didn't answer it figuring Aidan can wait a few more minutes for Edin to get decent. You totally weren't taking the chance to check him out.

Once Edin fixed his button you opened the door.

"Good morning Master Christopher." The man you were looking at was completely unknown to you. "Your dining is prepared." He stepped back to reveal a line of more men behind him.

"What?" You asked the question as the first man in the line walked into the room making you step back to avoid being knocked over.

You watched as almost a dozen men several of whom were carrying furniture. A table and two chair were soon your newest fixtures. The table was quickly draped in cloth and flowers with assembled in the middle. With the furniture assembled plates were carried in and arranged.

You probably should have stepped in a some point to question what was happening but the speed and efficiency with which the operation was carried out was impossible to interrupt. Once cutlery had been assemble you finally stepped in. "What's going on?" You asked one of the nearest men who wasn't in the midst of doing something.

"Preparing your breakfast Master Christopher." He answered as if that explained things. At a guess this was Anastasia's doing.

"Christopher?" Edin asked, he had been standing behind you and was as silently enthralled as you had been.

"Oh we were not prepared for another." The man says looking at Edin for the first time.

Ok clearly not Anastasia's doing. A worry thought occured. "Is this at the request of Lady–"

"Christopher." Lady Asune says answering your question before you could even finish it. "You left so quickly earlier I had to make sure we could finish our conversation." She walked over immediately invading your personal space her aura wrapping around you very uncomfortably.

"What?" Is all your brain can think of at the moment.

"Christopher?" Edin said again pulling Lady Asune's attention to him.

"Edin." Her smile darkens into a much nastier expression. "So glad you're at the Academy, and that you are already friends with my ..." she looks you up and down, "suitor."

A cold shiver ran down your spine as she said that. "Actually Edin and I were leaving." You say taking Edin's hand and trying to step around Lady Asune.

"I'm sure you wouldn't be so rude as to depart early again." She says stepping in front of you. "Especially after I've gone to all the effort of bringing breakfast to you." She leans towards you and you can feel her breath on your face. "I'm sure Edin can make his way to the baths on his own." She look Edin up and down and you feel his aura blush.

"We both should actually." You try to side step again and her aura presses harder against you making your skin tingle in irritation.

"I don't like my suitor's ignoring me." As Lady Asune says it the men who had assembled the breakfast make a quick exit. "Surely you don't intend to offend me." There was no attempt to hide the threat in her voice.

You thought about it for a second. "No I absolutely intend to offend you. I've no interest in being your suitor at all. While we are getting breakfast please do respect yourself enough to have all this," you gesture to the new furniture, "removed." You walk around her with Edin in tow.

Lady Asune doesn't even turn to look at you as you pass her. Her aura doesn't keep trying to cling to you so the irritation leaves you with each step. When you get to the door she says, "Til next time Christopher." The excitement in her voice made just all the skin crawl and you wondered if it would be possible to change rooms because her knowing where you live is going to make sleeping difficult.

With Edin in hand you hurry down the stair to the dinning hall. Before you walk inside you pause and look at Edin. "Do you need to go to the baths?"

Edin shifts his hips a little. "Little," a grin grows, "huge bit." His grin turns into a smirk. "I'll be quick." He pulls his arm but you hold him for a moment. After Lady Asune's encounter you aren't sure you want to leave him alone.
