A disembodied head

Your group has chosen to do a series of halloween -ish skits that all take place in a spooky manor, with your character, a disembodied head and pair of hands that lives on the manor wall, being the central through-line. You are in every scene, but you are never really the main character of any of them. In place of the back curtain your group has put up a thin plywood wall with holes for your head and hands. There is a piece cut out of the board that can move up to allow you to get in position and can latch in place so you don't accidentally move it during the show. It's not the most sophisticated illusion, but with the wall painted on, it does an OK job.

Since only your head and hands are going to be seen by the audience you didn't really have to worry about a costume. You just wore a t-shirt and gym shorts to be comfortable. The rest of your group chose much more elaborate wardrobes, even with several changes from scene to scene as they played different monsters, or humans. They were all happy with how your role worked out, since it allowed them to do their costume changes backstage, and with you latched into the set you wouldn't have any way to sneak a peek.

The six of you meet backstage and the girls are already in their first costumes. You can hear the audience filtering in so it's time to get into your places.
