A blessing and a warning

Radiating from the happiness from this morning, you have a big smile on your face as you arrive to class before the other students. Mr. Collins is busy doing something on his laptop, so you don't bother him on your way to your seat. Your normal day in this class starts with spending the first third or so of class listening to lecture followed by doing hands on work for the rest of the class. Mr. Collins' automotive shop class is the only class you have everyday. Luckily, it's your favorite class by far.

Once you have all your things ready for class and the upcoming lecture, you notice a small blue sticky note on the corner of your desk. Written on the sticky note is a phone number and this:

You have my blessing. Good Luck! =)

The fuck is this note?! Who left it? Who's number is this? Blessing for what? All these questions rattle through your brain as a few people, including Sydney, walk into the classroom, Sydney, being the bitch that she is, walks up to you and starts laughing.

"You look so fucking stupid right now. What's so important about that sticky note that it would make you react like that?"

Snapping back to reality, you respond back with, "none of your damn business, Sydney."

Before anything escalates too much, Mr. Collins cuts you both off and says, "Knock it off. Both of you are adults. Start acting like it. I'm mostly taling to you Sydney. You like to antagonize people, especially Jace. Now take your seat and don't stir up anymore trouble." As Sydney walks away, you slip the sticky note into your pocket, telling yourself that you'll deal with that later. The rest of your day progresses fairly normal from then on. Your home ec teacher told you that she enjoyed having Terra in class. You assure her that you'll bring her back sometime. For the most part, you've had a good day so far.

On your way back to the car, you get a call from Millie. "Hey. Firstly, I'll be working late. Secondly, I need to warn you about something I can almost guarantee you don't know."

"Warn me? About what?"

"Jane. I know that's not her actual name, but I don't have access to her folder to find out her actual name."

"Are you talking about my wolf girl?"

Millie softly giggles and says, "Yes. Your wolf girl. The thing about wolf girls is that they're usually obsessive. Some of them need to smell their chosen mate's smell daily or else they enter into a very **** state. From what Melissa told me, Jane fits into that category."

"That doesn't sound that bad. Why are you warning me?"

"She's loose and tracking your scent. She won't harm you, but I thought I'd at least give you a heads up."

"Thank you, darling. Good luck at work. I love you."

"I love you too, my bull."

After the call, you say to yourself, "I hope she's safe", as you drive home.
