A bit confused

Ann looked at him like a deer in headlights. Hajime could tell from their time together that school wasn't exactly her strong suit.

"So you like... I guess... You can kinda make them do anything, right?" Ann stammered.

"Quite right, I suppose. Once someone is deep enough into a trance you can theoretically make them do anything so long as you have established that trust while they're under." He nodded.

He then looked back to Makoto.

"Miss Niijima, can you give us an example of something that you yourself wouldn't do otherwise, but may while under hypnosis?" He asked "and find that once you say it, you will do it" he said with a hushed tone to Makoto, so that only she could hear him.
