A big greeting

After work, you head over to the cafe, and Dave says he’s coming too, but something came up with the other guys who were going to join you. They’ve promised to come next time, however. Dave agrees to follow you there, and the two of you head out. When you arrive, you see that there’s still a few protesters out front, but they don’t seem particularly energetic about their protests, apparently content to sit in lawn chairs and hold signs.

You and Dave ignore them, and head inside. You’re immediately greeted by Saya, the orc woman who handles security. “Oh, hey Brian! Coming to check on us?”

You laugh. “You know I’m not in charge, Saya. I’m just here with a friend from work is all. Dave, this is Saya, she keeps everyone safe here.”

For once, Dave seems speechless, staring up at Saya. To be fair, she is an impressive sight. Over seven feet tall, and quite muscular, many people are intimidated by the sight of her, not knowing she’s a sweetheart under all that muscle. And very pretty, to boot. Her long black hair is tied back in a ponytail, and her all black outfit is tight enough to highlight both her muscles, and her obvious feminine curves.

Saya smiles. “You guys can sit over there, I’m sure you want Kenna as your waitress.”

You chuckle. “That’s perfect, thanks Saya.”

As the two of you head over to the table, Dave keeps glancing back at the attractive orcish woman. You laugh, following his gaze. “See something you like, bud?”

Dave tears his eyes away and laughs as well. “You could say that. I may need to call Lisa! So, who’s Kenna? Sounds like you know them?”

You nod. “Kenna is the dragon girl I mentioned. She’s…ahh, here she comes.”

Kenna approaches, a big smile on her face. As always, she is a vision in her work outfit, a short skirt that shows off her legs, and a tight shirt to emphasize her large chest. Combined with her height, and her mass of vibrant red hair, she turns a lot of heads as she walks up and gives you a chaste kiss on the cheek.

“Hi Brian! I’d greet you more thoroughly, but you know. Rules are rules. And who’s this? On another date already? I didn’t think you were interested in guys…”

You chuckle, seeing the playful look in Kenna’s eyes. “Not particularly. This is Dave, a good friend of mine from work.”

Kenna’s eyes light up in recognition. “Oh! The other girls told me about you and your family. Nice to meet you, Dave!”

They shake hands, and Dave smiles. “Nice to meet you too, Kenna.”

He turns to you. “We definitely need to get together and mingle again. Maybe I can host a barbecue this weekend.”

You chuckle. “Sounds great. My house is a little bit crowded now.”

Kenna laughs. “I’m a bit bigger than the rest!”

You nod. “From the looks of things, Dave might have a similar situation soon.”

Dave’s eyes had wandered back to Saya. He laughs and scratches his neck. “I’m a bit obvious, huh. She’s…impressive.”

Kenna nods. “Big and strong and pretty. And I hear orc ladies are pretty wild in bed!”

All three of you laugh. Dave shakes his head. “Like I said, I need to talk to Lisa and Katie. I know they’re interested in adding another, but…”

You smile. “But you want their full opinion before jumping in.”

Dave grins. “You got it. I’ll talk to them tonight.”

Kenna smiles. “If you want, I can talk to Saya for you. I know she’s looking for a sponsor. Lots of people are intimidated by her.”

You laugh. “Just have her run Dave over. That seems to be how you got my attention!”

Kenna grins at you.
