A Wake Up Call

Gavin shot straight up in his bed, "Holy Shit! What the fuck was that!". Gavin got out of bed and proceeded to the bathroom to wash his face and hopefully get that dream out of his head. As he looked at himself in the mirror he realized that Gavin 2,0 was actually looking back at him.

"What the fuck have I done?", Gavin remembered everything he had done since he got with Victoria and he saw that he truly was becoming someone else another version of himself and it scared him.

"Gavin?" a voice sounded from the living room, Gavin went into the living room and saw Jennifer and a visibly shaken Victoria. "Vicky? My god, what happened to you? you look ready to fall apart" Gavin asked.

"Gavin" Victoria said as she broke down in tears. Gavin rushed to her and hugged her as tight as he could. "I'm here Vicky, I'm not going anywhere" Gavin just sat them both down and let Victoria cry on his shoulder. Jennifer decided that Gavin had Victoria and by the way, he was holding her, she believed he was very good hands.

About ten minutes later as Victoria stopped crying and just rested her head on Gavin's shoulder, Gavin decided it was time to set things right in his mind anyway. "Victoria, I need to say something and I hope this isn't a bad time I just need to get it off of my chest is that alright? If you want to wait until later I'd understand of course".

Victoria looked into Gavin's eyes and she could tell he truly didn't know what had happened to her today and then she remembered how she had treated him as well.

"Gavin, I also have something to say but I want you to go first". Gavin took a deep breath. "Everything that Kurt and Ashley told you was true however there were a few things they didn't know" Victoria shook her head and let Gavin continue. "The day I was going to tell you that I chose you I decided that I wanted to tell Chloe that I had picked you and I ended up finding them in the middle of having sex, Of course, like a perv I watched and Chloe ended up catching me then I had a threesome with the two of them afterwards I told Chloe that I chose you and she was happy for me, unfortunately, the time had gotten away from me so I decided to go back to the cabin to wait. I wanted to go out looking for you when you didn't come back but Zach said it would be better if I stayed just in case you came back and I let him convince me that it was the right thing to do".

Gavin once again took a deep breath and then proceeded to tell her about his dream and what he thought it had meant. "After you left as you did til before you showed up with Jennifer, I had spent a long time in my room umm well master bating it was like I was on autopilot I couldn't control myself, I was lost in my head and then I eventually passed out. When I did I had a kind of weird dream, heck more like a nightmare. The Gavin I was trying to become, to feel worthy of you was there and I was there face to face".

Victoria just let him continue she believed him and the longer she could put off what she had to say the better cause she didn't think Gavin was ready for it after hearing what he had to say so far.

"He was confident, Rude, He seemed to give off the air of confidence as he said in the dream he could walk into a room and own it. This "Gavin" was what I was becoming and when I saw this and then he said he was going to take over I finally realized that I have been going about everything the wrong way. I never needed Kurt's advice to be worthy of you, I didn't need to change, I was worthy because you chose me and like an idiot, I just couldn't see what was right in front of my face. I kept trying to improve something that truly didn't need changing, to begin with...myself"

Victoria smiled Gavin finally understood what she had known all along he was great just as he was...however Victoria also had something to say.

"Gavin earlier today I was a real bitch to you cause I was hurt and I just wanted to get away from you cause Kurt and Ashley had told me what you had been up to while I was away and I didn't let you have your say". This time it was Victoria's turn to take a deep breath. "Earlier today I was out with Ashley trying to find a way to help Lisa" Gavin sat across from Victoria as she told him everything that had happened to her in town.

"SHAWN DID WHAT!!!?" Gavin yelled.

Gavin sat across from Victoria as she once again began to cry and he held her close as he heard another vehicle approach the cabin. "Victoria, I may be a lot of things and made a lot of mistakes but I promise you this, as long as I live you will always have me at your side wither it is as a boyfriend or just a friend just know you have me and always will" Victoria just let her head rest on Gavin's chest and said "Thank You".
