A Turn of the Weather

To make matters a lot worse for her, the rolling fog was accompanied by a sudden burst of wind that roared the trees overhead. Leaves whipped and turned over, limbs rattled.

One branch, bigger than her, snapped overhead, making a loud pop and then a myriad of noises on the way down. She was just barely able to avoid it.

The wind pulled in a cold snap, something she had not been ready for in what was sweltering heat a moment before. Her skin prickled with goose skin and her nipples became rock hard as it sucked part of the life right out of her on its passing.

The pocket of cold air moving out sucked the heat and fog right back in. Her body, previously accustomed to cold snap, broke out in sweat, with it running along her hairline, under her arms, under her breasts...
