A Sinister Hunt pt.1

(Due to me having found myself with quite a bit more time than I'd hoped for I am happy to release this earlier than planned. I hope you all enjoy, I'll try not to keep this at too many parts.)

When I was woken up, it was to Jenny shaking me, telling me that it was time to get ready. She told me to grab what I could to eat and suit up. I started saying that I didn't really have a suit and she threw a bag into my arms before heading off to make her own preparations. I opened the bag to find a suit with some sort of body armor reinforcements in several spots. It appears to be something of a provisional suit that is given to new students to use for emergencies, a message from the professor explaining how once I'm further along in training they can talk about getting me a more permanent suit, one more fitting for my abilities and combat style. I got into the suit soon as I could, cleaned up and prepared as I could be, on my way out I stopped by the Foundry of course. Picking up and delivering a weapon to a very happy Rogue who put it away for now, deciding she'd get to training with it once the mission was over and she could focus on it.

I heard Kali offer to help Rogue's training with the sword as I stepped away, grabbing something quick and light to eat to give me some energy at least. Finally I met with the others and did what I could to help get everything on board that we were bringing, additional medical supplies mostly. Alongside some HEAVY sedatives in case any of them were being manipulated. I wasn't happy to know that was the plan but I understood that there was a good chance we'd have **** but to knock them out until we could try and hopefully undo whatever Sinister had done to them.

Everyone strapped in. Ready to take off. Our team consisted of the Professor, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean, Bishop, Magneto and Sabretooth. That left Rogue, Icewoman, Gambit, Jubilee, Beast, Angel, Cable, Emma, The Cuckoos, Shadowcat, Storm and Mystique to keep the mansion defended. The other people of the Brotherhood would be heading out to check on fellow mutants as well as inform them of the **** of Toad.

As for us? Our first stop was to a Shield Helicarrier, to pick up Psylocke and Titania before heading off to deal with Sinister. The whole time just heading to Shield, Sabretooth and Jenny kept away from each other, both of them barely able to stand being in the same Jet. Magneto kept Creed on a short leash though, meanwhile Jean did her best to keep Jenny calm. When we arrived we saw damage all over the Helicarrier, it looked like the Shield agents had been fighting against each other or something. We got a message from Natasha who was inside, apparently some agents had turned out to be enemy spies. They'd wanted Titania's new weapon and armor in order to try and replicate it themselves, something that Natasha and Barton had sorted out just a few hours ago.

We watched repair crews running around, putting out fires, making repairs wherever they could. It took a few minutes before a fully armed Titania came walking towards the Jet, being led by Betsy. They got onto the Jet and it was EASY to tell that the red haired woman had a look on her face that could melt steel. She kept touching her armor and closing her eyes. Betsy explaining that Titania had been crying despite how absolutely fucking LIVID she was with Sinister.
"I'm gonna play jump rope with that bastards fucking spinal chord..." Were the only words we heard her mutter, no one was in a hurry to try and talk her out of it either. The professor looked a bit against killing, but considering the danger that Sinister presented I don't think even he could think of a reason to NOT kill the insane scientist.

We took off, heading for the location that Titania pointed out to us. She made it pretty clear she wasn't gonna hold back in dealing with Sinister, surprisingly it was Jenny that talked to her. The back and forth was something I thought I should keep my nose out of, especially when Jenny began to talk about what memories she did have of losing people she cared about. From what I understood she made it clear Jenny wasn't gonna stop her from getting ****, she just wanted Titania's help in saving the other women that Sinister had kidnapped. Titania hadn't known anything about that apparently, something that Betsy explained to the rest of us. While this took place I got a pop up.

Objective available! Use your powers to END the threat Sinister poses! Options include: Servant or BLANK. Ally is not possible with this threat.

Well shit... this is gonna be fun to explain to the others... That's about the point we saw where we'd be landing, everyone preparing themselves even as they saw what might as well be a wasteland.
