A Secret Is Revealed!

It was shortly before the enrollment to college for Brian and the enrollment to University for Alexia that a possible issue might have been brought up between them...

"Ha! I'm carrying you in this mate!"

"Nope you are not!"

They were playing the latest tag team fighter game via online, Brian's character had just taken a beating and barely tagged Alexia in to find her character kicking the hell out of the enemy before they could even do anything, it didn't help when she managed to win the match either, Brian knew he was in for it now!

"I swear down mate, I'm carrying you everytime, trust!"

"Not my fault, my controller is old, the buttons stick" he said, exiting the game and returning to voice chat...

"Not gonna ask why your buttons are sticky, you been having a tommy tank again?"

"What do you mean 'again'?"

"Well it seems like your controller is always sticky, didn't you get any in High School?"

"Fuck you! I got loads!"

"I'm sure the guys appreciated that"

"Stop it."

"Okay which way did it go?"

"You sarcastic bitch"

"It's why you love me mate" she said, bobbing her tongue out cheekily...

"So you decided what you're gonna do at College?"

"We call it Uni here and yeah....I was gonna do Law"

"Whoah! Aiming for the big bucks?"

"No...I like wearing suits for the fun of it..." she quipped sarcastically. "What about you?"

"I was thinking maybe Sociology or maybe..."

"Because they got vacancies at the sociology factory right? Mate you know I appreciate you but don't be a bellend"

"What's wrong with that?"

"It's like over here we had a Uni with a 3 year 'Footwear Studies' Degree, it's useless in the real world y'know?"

"No it's not, it's about studying people and their interactions"

"If you want that go for Psychology, at least then you can use it to be a therapist or even have transferable skills, reading people could help in business or even in Law if you did a conversion course"

"You really think it's useless?"

"Might be people pissed off at me but yeah, degrees are hierarchical, Law and Medicine typically at the top followed by the STEM ones, at least in my opinion. Look you're my mate so you do you, but I wouldn't be much of a friend if I didn't want you to be successful."

"Well....thanks I guess, I'll give it some more consideration"
