A Recap of Events

The girls have arrived back from Viv’s apartment after your talk with Maddy. You’ve all changed for the trip to Brooke’s gym and are now all seated at the dining table of your apartment waiting for Maddy to return. Maddy left to go back to her grandparents’ to change for the gym; and she also said she was going to tell them that she’s joining them on their trip to talk to her father this weekend.

“So~, are we adding Maddy to the group chat yet?” Stella teasingly asks you.

“Not yet.” You answer.

“What!? Why!? I thought you guys talked it out?” Stella asks you in disappointment.

“I remember a time when you said you’d probably be the most jealous among us girlfriends.” Cassie reacts with a chuckle before you could answer Stella.

“Oh come on, you know that was different. Dad and I haven’t had—” Stella starts to react, before pausing after seeing Cassie’s raised eyebrow.

“Okay. What I meant to say was — we haven’t done stuff together yet.” Stella clarifies, pointing at herself and Cassie as she does. “I realized there’s nothing to be jealous about after that night all of us had, and I want everyone to be just as happy as I am… as we all are.” Stella answers Cassie.

“Okay.” Cassie replies with a nod. “You can tone it down a bit though.” Cassie points out.

“What? I’m just being supportive of Maddy.” Stella says defensively.

“There’s being supportive, and there’s pressuring our boyfriend to date someone.” Cassie points out, which Stella couldn’t form an argument against, and just apologizes for sounding like she was pressuring you.

You want to remind Cassie that she’s not exactly innocent of pressuring you either, since she was the one that cheered you on to buy a trait so you could possibly date your cousin; but since Viv and Brooke are still unaware of the app, you let it slide for now.

You notice Brooke having a faint smile on her face while she looks at you before quickly turning away when she sees you looking at her. You’re not sure what that was about, so you focus on reassuring your daughter.

“I don’t feel pressured, baby. Don’t worry. I was actually about to ask Maddy out on a date earlier, but Maddy stopped me before I could. She said it can wait.” You answer your daughter’s question.

“Wait… Maddy said it can wait? You’re kidding!” Stella reacts in disbelief.

“She did. Yeah. She said she needs to talk to her dad first. That’s why she’s joining her grandparents on their trip to talk to her parents this weekend .” You tell them.

“Wow. I wouldn’t have expected that after her reaction earlier.” Viv reacts to the news, and Brooke has a huge smile on her face.

“She’s gotten time to think about it. She doesn’t want to half-ass a relationship with Jay.” Brooke shares her observation, and you understand where Maddy got the phrase from when she said the exact same thing to you earlier, making you chuckle.

“I know.” You reply to Brooke quickly. “She told me exactly that when we talked. Thank you, Brooke. Maddy really appreciated her talk with you earlier.” You add, and Brooke just waves off your thanks, acting like she didn’t do anything special.

“If you think about it, that’s two people now that suddenly don’t want to bang Dad. Did you lose your mojo or something?” Stella jokingly asks you, making Viv guffaw.

“‘Jay lost his ‘mojo’. HA! I think I’m using that as the official reason why I’m hesitant to sleep with him now.” Viv chimes in jokingly, pronouncing mojo like Austin Powers.

“Quick! We have to travel back in time to stop Fat Bastard from stealing his mojo.” Stella adds on, pronouncing mojo in the exact same way as Viv, and the two of them laugh at their shared sense of humor. Cassie just covers her face with her hand in what you can only assume as embarrassment. That, or she’s already fearing the amount of times she’ll have to suffer through a tag-team of Viv and Stella.

“Why are you hesitant to sleep with him?” Brooke asks.

“Sex with Jay really is becoming your favorite topic, huh?” Viv deflects expertly, and Brooke pauses out of slight embarrassment, but recovers her composure quickly.

“After our date this Saturday, I’m hoping it becomes my favorite activity and not just my favorite topic.” Brooke replies playfully, resulting in the stunned silence of everyone. Brooke isn’t usually that forward.

Everyone has their mouth open in surprise, including yourself; but there is also definite hints of smiles on the corner of everyone’s lips. Being amused at the level of boldness Brooke had to make that joke.

“You’re not dodging—” Brooke tries to say, but the initial shock from Brooke’s statement has turned into full on laughter that interrupts Brooke’s thought.

“Get it, Brooke!” Stella cheers Brooke on.

“Hey, why not go on a date with him tonight after our gym trip?” Viv asks Brooke in excitement. Brooke looks at you, and you smile back at her; a smile that you hope conveys you’re willing to go on a date with her tonight if she’s up for it.

“We have a date on Saturday. I’m in no rush.” Brooke answers Viv, before giving you a reassuring smile.

“Why did that sound like it was a dig at me?” Viv asks Brooke jokingly.

“Because it was.” Brooke jokes back.

“Hey!” Viv reacts. “He was the one who invited me for tacos. Don’t act like I’m the one who jumped the line.” Viv adds, still jokingly, but you can hear a bit of defensiveness in her tone. It seems Brooke heard it too.

“Aw~! I was just kidding! Come here, I haven’t given you a proper ‘I’m happy for you’ hug.” Brooke tells Viv, and they both stand up from their seats to hug each other, and sway in place while squealing in delight. As the two break away from their hug, Brooke found the perfect opportunity to continue being playful with Viv.

“That being said, you still cut the line.” Brooke jokes, but it was obviously delivered tongue-in-cheek that Viv just laughed it off, making Brooke laugh too.

“Wait a minute, how come I got a stern talking to for pressuring Dad to go on a date with Maddy and Viv didn’t?” Stella asks Cassie.

“I already know Jay wants to date Brooke. Viv isn’t exactly pressuring him to do anything he doesn’t want to do. ” Cassie answers Stella.

“Dad said he was going to ask Maddy out anyway!” Stella argues.

“He only said that after!” Cassie points out.

“Face it, Stella. Cassie just likes me better.” Viv teases Stella, before sticking her tongue out to goad her, but it was actually Cassie that reacted.

“Hey! That’s me and Stella’s thing! Get your own!” Cassie reacts jokingly, and it causes your girlfriends to laugh in amusement.

Now that Cassie’s clarified what she meant by ‘pressuring you’ though, you realize she wasn’t being hypocritical about her reminder to Stella earlier. Cassie knew you liked Celeste, so you assume she thinks it was her way of showing her support and not just pressuring you to do something you might not have wanted to do.

“Oh my God!” Brooke suddenly shouts, making all of you pause in surprise.

“What? What happened?” You ask Brooke, concerned.

“I made that lewd joke earlier to show I wasn’t going to be embarrassed anymore and allow Viv to dodge my question… and she still dodged my question!” Brooke explains, annoyed with herself, while Viv couldn’t help but laugh in reaction. Since the two of them were still standing up, Viv did a stage bow towards Brooke.

“Parkour!” Viv suddenly imitates Michael Scott for some reason, hand movements and all, to the confused looks of everyone. “Because that’s how I dodge questions!” Viv explains.

“Parkour isn’t about dodging, you fool! It’s about—” Stella started to argue with Viv before being cut off by Brooke.

“Oh my God! She’s doing it again!” Brooke exclaims in realization.

“Busted.” Viv says with a guilty smile.

“Just answer my question, V. What’s holding you back from sleeping with him?” Brooke reiterates her earlier question.

“Why do you want to know?” Viv asks her.

“Ugh! It’s not even a big deal, so I don’t know why you have to dodge anything.” Stella reacts in agitation, to which Viv just reacted with a mischievous grin. Stella wasn’t going to let her get away with dodging the topic anymore though.

“She thinks Dad’s going to be bland at sex.” Stella crudely answers Brooke.

“Hey! That’s not— Wait a fucking minute! First of all, you don’t get to decide if it’s a big deal or not!” Viv reacts in frustration to Stella. You’re not exactly liking the vibe that’s now settling after that reaction, as Viv seems to be genuinely agitated at Stella, instead of seeing it as a playful tease. Knowing your daughter, you decide to take control of the situation before Stella escalates it further.

“Stella.” You address her sternly, before giving her a look that signaled she needed to apologize to Viv for rudely revealing something that wasn’t hers to reveal. Your use of your daughter’s name channels all the authoritative aura you could muster, and Stella immediately recognizes it and apologizes to Viv.

Your quick demonstration of your parental authority seems to have a different effect on Viv though.

“Oooh~, Daddy.” Viv reacts with a playful accent, and a naughty look in her eyes, before licking her lips.

“You don’t seem to be too afraid of it being bland, pervert.” Brooke jokes at Viv’s expense.

“There’s more to it than that!” Viv reacts to Brooke. “I was just praising Daddy for the good start.” She quickly adds, flirting with you, before giving you a wink.

“Wait, so you’re saying just because he’s not going to tie you up, you think he’ll be bland?” Brooke asks.

“It’s not just about being tied up! It’s the whole… experience! Don’t judge me!” Viv reacts defensively.

“Whoa! Hey~, I’m not judging!” Brooke reacts before giving Viv another hug, and rubbing Viv’s back. “I’m just curious about what you’re going through. I can’t help if I don’t know what’s going on.” Brooke comforts her.

“You should’ve just got it over with, if you ask me.” Stella tells Viv.

“I was trying to! Junior over here had to use his girlfriend's only secret mind reading technique and I had to come clean that I had my reservations.” Viv responds to Stella, after breaking away from Brooke’s hug.

“His what now?” Brooke asks.

“What do you think, Jay? Should we just tell both of them about the app already?” Cassie asks, sitting next to you, in a whisper. You don’t answer her, but you do give the suggestion some consideration. If you think about it, you told Stella and Cassie about the app before you had your talk about each other’s feelings with them anyway. So it’s not like it’s a literal ‘girlfriends’ only secret’.

“Also, even if Maddy gets here, we could tell her too. You already said you want to date her anyway, right? Why continue hiding it from them if they’ll find out eventually?” Cassie adds to her point for you to contemplate.

“Wait, can we pause whatever that is you’re whispering about? We’re going to get derailed again.” Brooke suggests, to your and Cassie’s surprise. It seemed Brooke had her own idea to address Viv’s anxiety.

“If you’re concerned about him not being up to your kinky standards, why not just let him ask Celeste for tips on how she and her boyfriend used to do it with you?” Brooke asks Viv.

Wait…

“WHAT!?”

Author's Message: Hey everyone! Welcome back!

I'm slowly transitioning the story to focus on the app, and Jay and the girls having more fun together. I promise. I just need to finish this day in-story to get to it. Just to finish Viv's current arc. If I follow my outline, it'll be around 15 or so more chapters. If I time it right, March will be the start of Thursday (Week 2, Day 6). I hope you can stay patient with my overindulgent writing during this time XD.

I'm also announcing that I've started a Patreon! I'll be posting early access chapters there, and my Ko-Fi is now a back-up account for donations (in case my Patreon gets flagged for inappropriate content (i.e. ****). Donating on Ko-Fi will still get you early access, but I'll be doing it through GDocs, instead of posting updates on the site itself.
