A Hero

After shopping, we went our separate ways from May and Emily. But for some reason, I just had a bad feeling.

"Master, are you ok?" asked Jasmine as she snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, just give me a minute" I said as I went for a little walk. Jasmine was concerned, but let me go. For some reason I just felt like something bad was about to happen.

I walked for a bit, until I was in view of an alley. And I swear I saw some movement.

"MMMMMHHHHHHH" I heard a muffled scream. I ran into the alley. What I saw was horror to my eyes.

The man from before had his arm around Emily's mouth and May was on the ground.

"I'll let her go, if you give me what I want" he said to May as he undid his belt.

I'm not sure what came over me, but the next thing I knew, I was punching him in the face. He let go of Emily and stumbled back, but I wasn't done. I kept punching him until he fell ****.

"Wh-wh-what just happened?" I questioned as I backed away. When I turned around, I was sucked into a hug by Emily.

"Thank you thank you thank you" she repeated as she hugged me. I smiled a little and hugged her back.

"I'm just glad you guys are ok" I said as Emily began to cry. May grabbed her and brought her into a hug.

"Thank you, truly" she said to me.

"I was just doing what was right" I said to them.

"How can we repay you?" asked May, but I shook my head.

"Don't worry about it. Come on, let's get out of here" I said before leading them out.

I don't care about the reward, I just want to help people.
