A Hero Bares All

"Mitsuki..." Kumiko began with a gulp, her face becoming red hot. "Would you be willing to trade my boots for... Another article of clothing that I have?"

"But you told me that you weren't going to trade your gloves for them..."

"No. No, not the gloves." Kumiko stammered, biting her lip as she looked around, "And not my hat, either. I mean my..." She gulped, "My p-panties."

Mitsuki's eyes went wide as she dropped the boots on the table, her jaw going slack as her cheeks went red.

"What's better than having Magical Girl Kumiko's hat and boots in your collection, Haruno Mitsuki? Having the very panties she was wearing the day you met her!" Mitsuki squealed as she proudly held up the Hello Kitty panties. She then turned to face Kumiko and said, "Thank you so much, Magical Girl Kumiko! How can I ever repay you!"

"You can start by never mentioning this again." Kumiko said with an embarrassed chuckle. Apart from her hat, boots, and gloves, the young woman was practically naked, holding up an empty trash can that she poked leg holes through to cover her body as her face burned crimson.

"Deal!" Mitsuki said as she stuffed the Hello Kitty panties into her bag before getting up from the table and walking away. "Bye, Magical Girl Kumiko! I hope you can get your costume back!"

"Thank you!" Kumiko replied sheepishly.

Kitty flew up to Kumiko and shook his head. "This could've all been avoided if you had just let me scare her while you stole back the hat and the rummaged through her bag."

"Do the words 'Science Lab Test Subject' mean anything to you?" Kumiko asked as she frowned at the quokka. When Kitty flinched in response, Kumiko gave a nod. "I thought so. Now just shut up and let's get out of here so I can finally get dressed! And you better be able to make me a new cape!"

Kumiko walked awkwardly towards the entrance of the library, holding the trash can up as she tried to leave as fast and as carefully as she could. As she passed the front desk, however, the heroine was unaware that the librarian had just looked up from her book, her eyes going wide as she saw the young woman wearing a trash can and accompanied by a floating quokka as she walked out into the hall.

The librarian blinked once. Twice. Three times, before letting out a sigh and shaking her head. "Somethings are just too weird to even think about." She said before returning to her book.

Out in the hall, Kumiko desperately made her way towards the girls room where she had left her clothes, praying that nothing else would go wrong?
