What Sort Of Matter???????
A Certain Iron Bank Loan
Turned Out, King Rhaegar Had Taken A Loan From The Iron Bank Of Braavos, Aegon Knew Nothing Of This and Neither Did Lord Tyrion, Varys, Or The Rest Of The Small Council, A Councilor Came To Storms End, With The Bill, and Aegon Was Surprised. The Loan Was About One Million and Five Hundred Thousand Gold. Before Aegon Could Respond, Tywin and Mace Tyrell Offered To Jointly Pay Off The Debt, Though Aegon Clearly Didn't Like It, He Wasn't About To Refuse The Offer. Later Though, Aegon Learned That Rhaegar Had Set Up Several Trade Agreements Between Westeros and Iron Bank Affiliated Merchants, But With Rhaegar's ****, Aegon Was Now The Beneficiary Of The Arrangement.
Aegon Asked The Iron Bank Councilor To Tell The Merchants That The Agreements Were Still Valid, and All That Rot. But Also Informed Him Westeros Was Forming An Obsidian Bank, and That They'd Appreciate A Mutually Beneficial Arrangement With The Iron Bank. Immediately Taking The Hint, The Man Promised To Speak To His Superiors and Left, Aegon Had Varys Attach Some Of His Little Birds To The Man Just In Case. Meantime Aegon Had To Get To Work, Shoring Up A Initial Gold Supply, To That End, He Acquired Rights To Mine Gold In Several Mines In The Westerlands, He Had Tyrion Acquire Services Of Operatives Who Would Serve As Merchants Of Grains and Wines, Had Smiths Hired By The Dozens, Ships Permanently Contracted To Supply and Sell and Buy As Needed, and Set Up Mines On The Iron Islands For Tin, Lead, Steel, Copper, Bronze, and Other Metals.
Furthermore, Aegon Set To Work The Process Of Offering Merchants Guilds Of Notable and Well-Earned Repute A Large Bribe To Do Business With The Obsidian Bank, and When Possible Take Loan's. Where The Iron Bank Always Got It's Due, The Obsidian Bank Would Always Get It's Cut. The Official Motto Was To Be: "Sharp Of Wit, Strong With Gold, Staunch In Steel." Drawing Wit From Reach, Gold From The Westerlands, Steel From The North, But Sharp From The Iron Islands, Strong From The Stormlands, and Staunch From The Eyrie. Since Obsidian Was Sharp As Hell, It Made Sense Making The Bank Saying As "The Obsidian Bank Always Gets It's Cut", Because This Was A Land Of Wit, Steel, Strength, and Gold.
His Business Concluded, and His Refusal To Stay Longer Than Necessary, Aegon and The Royal Company Departed For Kingslanding. The Citadel Of Storms End Was Impenetrable and Impregnable, Just Like Harrenhall, The Eyrie, and Casterly Rock. Aegon Decided, To Raise A New Seat, One In The Reach, Named Aegon's Hall, The Seat Had Six Towers On The Wall, and A Seventh In The Center. Built Across The Mander River, Southwest Of Highgarden, The Castle Incorporated Design Elements From Harrenhall, Riverrun, Storms End, and Winterfell. The Castle Had Two Pillars On Each End Of The Mander, With Two Built Into The River Itself As A Floodgate Pair. A Large Wall Surrounded The Castle, With A Flood Wall In The Mander, and Aegon Chose For The Seventh Tower To Have A Bridge Connected To Each Of The First Six Towers. Meanwhile The Castle Would Have Draw Bridges That Could Prevent Crossing From Either Side, and Aegon Would Give This Castle To One Of His Son's.
Aegon Ordered A Similar Crossing Added To The Neck Some Distance From The Twins, Another Son Would Receive This and Hold Sway Over The Crossing With House Frey As Their Vassals. But Aegon Was Getting Ahead Of Himself. He Had Business To Attend To Back Home. Aegon Had More Problems Coming However, Because As The Saying Held True As Always, Peace Never Lasts Long In Westeros. Aegon Hoped To Make It Last Longer, But That Was Something Of A Dimmed Hope. The Long Night Could Come, Or Another Rebellion Could Be Declared.
Aegon Was Entering Kingslanding, Crowds Flocked To Greet Their King and His Queens. Aegon Wore A Dragon Helm and His dragons Were Perched Atop His Shoulders, Helm, and Horse. All That Was Left, Was For The New Day Of The Seven Kingdoms To Begin..............
