The Reach Branch Would Ideally Be Known As The Obsidian Steward Guard, A Reflection Of House Tyrell's Humbler Origins From House Gardener. The Obsidian Stewards Would Be Taught To Be Adaptable, Cunning, and Pragmatic, Able To Adopt Or Adapt As Needed.

This Left The Obsidian Guard Branches In The West, Vale, Iron Islands, and Riverlands To Be Named and Specialised. Taking Great Consideration and Care On Name and Specialty, Aegon Elected To Name The Vale Branch As The Obsidian Falcon Guard, Who Specialised As Calvary and Mountainous Region Troops, Whereas The Riverlands Branch Would Be Known As The Obsidian Marsh Guard, Trained To Fight In Such Areas and Operate As Independent Forces To Harry and Traumatise Their Foes. The Westerlands Branch Guard Would Be Known As The Obsidian Lion Guard, Trained By Officers Who In Turn Were Trained By Tywin Himself In Strategy and Ser Jamie In Swordsmanship. All That Remained Was The Ironborn, and While Not Much Of A Branch, For Aegon Hadn't Intended To Set One Up In The Iron Islands, The Ironborn Obsidian Guard Would Be Known As The Obsidian Drowned Guard, and Remain Basically As Ironborn Were, Just More Disciplined.

To Keep A Balance, Lord Paxter Redwyne Lead The Reach Mercantile Fleet and Trade Affairs, With One Of Paxter's Sons As Head Of The Obsidian Steward Guard. While The Riverlands Branch Was Controlled By Edmure Tully, His Uncle Brynden Would Head The Obsidian Marsh Guard, With Lord Mallister As The Head Of Finance and Trade. In The Vale, Lady Waynwood Was In Charge, and Lord Royce Headed The Vale Branches Armies and Obsidian Guard.

While In Dorne The Obsidian Desert Guard Was Led By Obara Sand, and The Branch Headed By Arianne Or Quentyn, The Head of Trade Would Probably Be Trystane. In The Iron Islands The Drowned Obsidian Guard Would be Headed By Lady Yara Greyjoy, and The Bank Branch Itself By Lord Theon Greyjoy and The Bank Fleet Victarion Greyjoy. But Aegon, Aegon Was Tired Discussing Bank Business, Hence Why He Went For Something Mildly More Interesting.
