A Cave

"Look!" Luna says getting our attention. She's pointing to out right and I see a cave entrance. It looks like it's two miles down the street. It seems to have grown from the ground. It's in the middle of the street and goes under it. We walk over to it and see a giant green Goblin by the entrance. Next to it are two smaller ones. I use Observe on the bigger one and tell the girls what it is.

"That's going to be an issue. If there are more inside they'll hear us." Luna says and I nod.

"Girls. I want you to stay here real quick." I say and they nod before I start slowly walking around. I go behind the cave and climb the back of it. The cave seems to go down on a incline once you enter. So I walk up it and reach the top. I look down to see the two Goblins and Hobgoblin. I look out and see the girls still where I told them to wait. Innu waves and I smile before readying my Katana. I jump down and impale my blade into the Hobgoblins head.

I let go of my Katana and the Hobgoblins body falls. The two Goblins at my sides turn to me in shock and I raise one hand each. I cast Vine Trap and bind the two, including their mouths. I then quickly grab my Katana, that's now laying on the ground surrounded by blue lights, and pick it up. I cut the heads of the two Goblins.

I store away the drops and see the girls approaching. Innu jumps and hugs me.

"That was so cool Master!" She says and I pet her before Luna joins in, wanting pets too. After a few moments I pull away and we move on. We enter the cave and start looking around. Despite there being no torches, I can still see perfectly fine. I look to the others and see they can as well. After a minute of slowly walking forward we see a fire. We walk up to it and see a group of five Goblins. They're talking but I can't understand their language. It sounds like grunts or laughs but they seem to be arguing.

"Alpha, look there." Luna says mortified and pointing to the shadows next to them. I have to squint my eyes to see it and it horrifies me. I see a body laying on the ground. It's covered in blood and missing it's arm. It's a man wearing leather armor. They have long blond hair and a bow lays broken next to them. Suddenly a booming voice announces itself and walks up to the fire. It's another Hobgoblin and unlike the other, which had a spear, this one has a club. It walks up to the group and points to the dead man on the ground. It says something I can't understand and the group goes silent. After a few moments one of the five Goblins jumps out of its seat and raises its voice. It starts shouting but the Hobgoblin crushes it under its club, killing it in one blow. The others back up a bit and the Hobgoblin reaches for the body. Before it can grab it Luna and Innu jump out together. They charge the group and I quickly follow. Instead of being mad that they charged the group before making a plan or anything, I'm more frustrated at myself for not going out with them first. They roar, Innu does at least, Luna howls but the effect is the same. The four Goblins and single Hobgoblin turns towards us.

"Take the Goblins! I'll get the big one!" I shout and they easily jump past the Hobgoblin, who started running at us. I see them get to the group of Goblins before I duck under its club. I cut along its leg but can't cut it off.

It roars and swing at me again and I Blink behind it. I cast Elemental Breath and use my Demonic Fire as my element.

I smile and dodge its club again by jumping back. I Multicast Demonic Flare and hit it with all of them.

I smile seeing the girls beat their Goblins and It roars in anger, assuming I mocked it with my smile. It starts running at me and I do the same. I slide under its club and see it raise its foot to stomp on me. I roll to my side and cut along its crotch. It roars in pain before dying.

We all run over to the body and I confirm that they're dead. They have no pulse and they feel cold to the touch. We quickly bury them and as I pick the up by the shoulders, while Luna grabs his legs, I notice something. Their hair falls down and I see they have long pointy ears. An Elf? Why are Elf's here? I don't know, and it doesn't matter. Let's just finish this. I think as we finish burying him. We then continue on and find six more Goblins and three Hobgoblins. Fortunately they're all in groups of two Goblins and one Hobgoblin. So we managed to kill them easily and I get 7500 Exp and 3264$. After we walk for a few minutes from our last group we find the boss. So far the cave has been a single passage and now we see a wooden wall. There's a door in the center with two Hobgoblins guarding it. They have very crude metal armor. It's just pots, pans and other common metal items that have been stuck together. I can even see a piece taped on. In their arms are a crude metal shields and swords.
