A Brief Discussion on Roles

“Time to put on a show.” Tanya says to Maddy, but the declaration only seems to panic Maddy.

“Um-uh~... what am I supposed to do now?” Maddy asks shyly.

“Like I said earlier, just do what’s natural for you. You said you were trying to save me from the succubus earlier, right? How were you planning to do it?” You ask, trying to direct her in the right direction. Tanya then shifts her boobs on top of your head, while her hands rest on your shoulders.

“Yes, Maddy. How were you planning to save your love from this foul succubus?” Tanya asks teasingly.

Maddy thinks on it for a second, looking towards Stella and Cassie for ideas, but the two girls just give her encouraging looks to not worry about her next steps. Maddy then looks back at you, and you give her the same encouraging look as the girls did. Hoping that your eyes convey that whatever she chooses to do, you and the rest of your girlfriends will ride with it. Maddy smiles for a moment, finding the comfort from the support of everyone, before she decides on how to act next.

Maddy kneels in front of you. She palms your cheeks with both her hands, staring deep into your eyes as she slowly inches her lips closer to yours. She glances towards your lips with a longing look, and you decide you break the anticipation yourself and close the distance between you and Maddy.

The two of you kiss sweetly. Like the long lost lovers you and Maddy are roleplaying as. You wrap her lithe frame with one arm and pull her body closer to yours, hugging her tightly as your kiss evolves into something more erotic. Maddy introduces her tongue to the mix, and you openly accept it with your own.

Your tongues swirl around each other, while Maddy’s hands move lower. From your cheek, she caresses your jaw with her fingers, down to your neck, before finally palming your chest. It felt like she intended to go lower than that, but before it could, you feel Tanya’s weight lift off of you and the feeling of Maddy’s hands on your chest disappear. The feeling of Maddy’s lips part from yours soon after.

“And where were you planning to bring these naughty little hands to, Madeleine?” Tanya asks her devilishly. Like she caught the innocent girl attempting something sinful.

“I was just doing what felt natural.” Maddy answers innocently.

“And what exactly felt natural, hm?” Tanya continues to tease, causing Maddy to feel embarrassed.

“Um… I don’t know! I was just moving my hands! I’m not used to taking the lead, okay?” Maddy shouts in a panic, pulling her hands away from Tanya and shelling up. Obviously misreading Tanya’s playful questions as genuine critique.

“Woah there, sweetie. That was just a bit of teasing. I didn’t mean anything by it.” Tanya assures her, causing Maddy to feel even more embarrassed.

“I’m sorry. You’re right. I shouldn’t have thought of it like that.” Maddy quickly apologizes.

“~Relax, chica.” Tanya advises her with a soothing tone. “This is a judgment free zone. You’re amongst friends here.” Tanya adds.

“Even better, Maddy. You’re amongst girlfriends.” Cassie chimes in supportively.

“Why do you feel pressure now, Maddy? You didn’t seem like this back at Becca’s home gym.” You ask her, trying to understand her panic a bit more.

“Well… it was just the whole ‘putting on a show’ thing Tanya said.” Maddy answers, and you can hear Tanya guiltily chuckle from above you. “Back at Becca’s, I didn’t feel like the main attraction, you know?” Maddy adds.

“I guess that’s partly on Cassie too.” Stella chimes in.

“Hey~! What do you mean I’m partly to blame?” Cassie reacts in confusion and offense.

“You are technically making me an audience member.” Stella says teasingly, and Cassie’s naughty smile returns after hearing what Stella meant.

“What do you mean, ‘technically’?” Cassie teases back, tightening her hold on your daughter once again, before nuzzling her nose on Stella’s cheek. Stella can’t help but giggle from Cassie’s affection.

“Ehh~” Maddy utters, clearly not liking the pressure of having to ‘perform’ in front of them. “Not helping you guys!” Maddy tells Stella and Cassie, who both can’t help but chuckle at Maddy feeling pressured.

You take matters into your own hands and take Maddy’s hands to open herself up again. You place them back on your chest, though she has them closed into fists, showing that she’s still second guessing her earlier choice to touch you there.

“Focus on me, my love.” You say to grab Maddy’s attention. “What is there to fear now that you and I are finally together?” You add, channeling what the main character of your books would say if he was the one in this situation.

Maddy smiles, a glimmer in her eyes as you whisk her into the fantasy setting she grew to love through your books. Her fists slowly open up, until her palms return to rest on your chest as they did earlier during your kiss.

The other girls remain silent, not wanting to ruin the atmosphere you’ve created for Maddy’s comfort. Despite feeling uncomfortable yourself with Maddy’s chosen role for you in all this, and from knowing that your other girlfriends are definitely watching you and Maddy play this out, you push that to the back of your mind for now. Your only focus is on getting Maddy to regain her confidence back.

“Thanks for trying, Jay.” Maddy surprisingly tells you. “But if I’m being completely honest, I wasn’t really thinking when I chose to act as the Emperor’s divine half earlier.” Maddy admits.

“I’m not even sure which version I’m being!” Maddy says, her voice perking up suddenly. “Am I ‘Xia’ from ‘The Undying Emperor’ or ‘Ilith’ from ‘The Desert of Time’, or… or… Oh! Not the point. Sorry.” Maddy says, catching herself before going full fangirl.

“Whatever version or timeline it may be, it doesn’t matter.” You interject after Maddy apologizes. “What matters is that you and I are together.” You add. Though the sentiment is genuine, you still try channeling your character as much as you can. You don’t want to compound on Maddy’s fear that she made a mistake by thinking of that role for you.

“That’s the thing… I think that I don’t want it to matter at all.” Maddy replies, to your confusion, which she quickly recognizes.

“What I’m trying to say is… I’m not really sure if I can keep up pretending to be a character, especially one of your characters, if we’re going to do what I think—what I hope—we’re going to do. Nor do I want to.” Maddy finally admits.

“I just want… to be with you. The real you.” Maddy admits sweetly. “The man I’m in love with.” Maddy adds. You can’t help but smile gratefully upon hearing Maddy’s description of you, and your heart swells after hearing her express her deep love for you.

“And if it’s okay… I just want to be Maddy.” She requests shyly, and you can feel you and the rest of your girlfriends all just smiling at Maddy admitting what it is she really wants.

“Of course, Maddy. It’s more than okay. I’d like nothing more.” You tell her, before pulling her into a hug like you did earlier before kissing her deeply. A kiss that’s not layered with pretend like it was earlier. This is you. Kissing your girlfriend.

And it makes the kiss all the more sweeter.
