A Beast

I arrive at the cave without incident. I haven't heard or seen anything. I enter the cave and slowly walk down the path. I quickly come to a familiar room with a familiar door. In the center of the room, there's a big wolf. The wolf has two tails and is as tall as me. I Observe the wolf while getting my Dark Weapon, and Islayas Dagger out. I take my horns, boots, and claws out as well. I assume it's going to be like the Werewolf and is immune to my Ancient Beast Katana's attacks.

I cast Ancient Beast Strength before charging the Wolf. It notices me immediately and howls. Its howl is so loud I feel my head vibrate. I swing my Dark Weapon towards its head. It jumps back to avoid my attack. It starts growling and slowly walks forward. I cast Hydra, using my Dagger as a wand. It doesn't boost the spell, but it's becoming more natural to use it this way. The Wolf flinches when the Hydra heads appear. I have the heads each bite down on the Wolf. It tries to get away but is too slow. One head bites both its tails, another bites its front legs, and the last bites its body.

I gasp a little upon reading the damage numbers. The Wolf howls out in pain as my Hydra heads pull back. I have them go back for another bite. The Wolf's tails grow and wrap around two of the necks. It bites the third one and I smile. I make one of the heads that are held by its tail charge a pure elemental shot. I make it shoot it at the Wolf, who was distracted by the other head. I was making it struggle and wiggle, so the Wolf wouldn't jump away. The shot hits the Wolf and causes an explosion. The **** of the blast nearly knocks me off my feet.

Legendary Material Drop

I store the drop away, I have to climb down the small crater Hydra created. I am a little disappointed I didn't get an item like with the Werewolf. I then open the door to Bergeths statue. There's a familiar chest in front of it and I smile. I open the chest and look inside. I see a clay jar and a green orb. The orb emits a faint green gas and hovers an inch above the ground. I Observe the items, along with the Wolf drop while I'm at it.

Ancient Blood Jar, Legendary Alchemy Ingredient

This Blood Jar contains the blood of Bergeth. It has been preserved by the enchantments on the clay. This has kept the blood fresh, keeping it the way it was when it was taken.

Greater Twin-Tailed Wolf Soul Lvl 55, Mythical

This is the Soul of Greater Twin-Tailed Wolf. This soul can be used to summon the beast. It was created when a wolf entered Bergeths Sealed Dungeon. Bergeth's Soul turned it into a Guardian. This makes it much stronger than others of its kind.

Greater Twin-Tailed Wolf Hide(25), Legendary

This Hide was taken from a Greater Twin-Tailed Wolf. The Wolf was made from the Ancient beast Bergeth. This made it much more resilient than normal. The Hide is incredibly tough, providing more protection than Enchanted Steel. It's also very light, thanks to the magic it contains.

I break the Statue of Bergeth after reading the descriptions. I store the Soul Fragment away and open my map. I want to go harvest some more and test out the Mattock. I find and cut 19 trees and 15 rocks. I get 570 Wood, 350 Magic Wood, and 30 Enchanted Wood. For the stone, I get 450 Stone, 280 Magic Stone, and 20 Enchanted Stone. I made the right call on this Mattock. I've never gotten anywhere close to this many resources in one Dungeon. I think before leaving the Dungeon. Just to be safe, I exit back to my Domain and immediately leave to my apartment. I go back to the street and focus on Bergeth. I follow the pulling sensation. It leads me to the mall. I get off my bike and store it away, after making sure no one was looking. I make my way inside and spend twenty minutes trying to find the spot. I eventually find it and sigh. It's in a closed-off store. The store is empty and the lights are off. It has a metal security gate with small holes pulled down, it stops about ten inches before the ground. Behind it though, I can see the open door. Nothing's inside the room, at least that I can see. I sit down on a nearby bench. I then try to come up with an idea to get in. I smile and stand up a minute later. I look around for the bathroom and go in. I see someone in one of the stalls and smile and again. I wait for him to finish and act like I'm using the urinal. It doesn't take long for him to finish. I cast Shadow Move and sink into my own shadow as he flushes. I quickly move over to his shadow and shiver. The feeling of sinking into my shadow wasn't uncomfortable. Neither was moving, it feels as natural as walking. But when I entered his shadow it felt like a heavy blanket got dragged across my skin. I follow him out and he starts walking toward the empty store. As he passes it I quickly move into another person's shadow. I repeat this a few times until I get a chance to move under the security gate. I make sure no one saw me and sigh. I move over to the spot where the pulling is. I cast Enter Dungeon and only then do I come out of my shadow. I sigh with relief that I made it and make my way to the cave. Fortunately, all these Dungeons that house Bergeths Soul Fragments are identical. As I walk, a thought occurs to me. If all of Bergeths Soul Fragments have Guardians, does that mean Luna was one? She wasn't anywhere near as strong as the others though. At least back then she wasn't. I wonder if they got stronger for a reason. Maybe because I'm gathering them? Could they have instinctually made their Guardians stronger? But Luna also had a pack of wolfs. Maybe she was weaker because she had them? None of the other Guardians had any wolfs, they were all alone. I think before arriving at the cave. I enter the cave and get ready for a fight.
