A Wolf Pack

As soon as I step into the cave I hear a howl. A chorus of howls follows suit. So there are multiple Guardians here. I think quickly while drawing my Dark Weapon and Dagger. I take my boots, claws, and horns out and cast Ancient Beast Strength. Almost immediately after, a wolf jumps at me. I quickly Observe it as it bites down on my arm, more on instinct than thought.

I quickly bring my Dagger down on its head.

I sigh relieved as the Wolf's body falls. I'm glad I activated my Dark Claws. Its fangs probably would've torn my flesh if I didn't. My armors good, but I could still feel its fangs through it, even with my claws. I think before storing the drop away. I continue down the cave and get attacked by three Wolves. I Blink away to dodge them. One of the Wolves jump at me and I cut it with my Dark Weapon.

I jump back as the Wolf falls to its side. I use my Dagger to cast Hydra. I have one of the heads bite onto the Wolf I cut. Fortunately, the Wolves are smaller than the Greater one. So the Hydra head can pick it up. I have it toss the Wolf into the wall.

The Wolf crashes into the wall and creates a cloud of dust. Rock and debris fly across the ground. The other two Wolves rush me. I make the Hydra heads grab them. Two heads grab the first Wolf, while the third takes the other.

My eyes shoot wide from shock. I quickly shake it off before making the free Hydra heads bite the Wolf.

I walk around and store the drops away. Hydra is an amazing skill. It's really powerful, but it does have a few drawbacks. It's hard to control these heads, it takes a bit of time. It also has its own health. That sounds nice, but needing two days to recharge if it 'dies' isn't great. If my math is right, it deals double my Strength when it bites. I think before continuing down the cave. I keep my Hydra out and use it to attack. I slay six more Wolves before reaching the end. I get 30000 Exp, 21192$, four Rare Drops, and two Epic Drops. I enter the room with Bergeths statue. I open the chest inside and see a ring. I Observe the ring and the items I got from the Wolves.

Ancient Wolf Ring Lvl 45, Legendary

This Ring was once eaten by Bergeth. The ring is made up of Magicallium. Thanks to that, the Ancient Beast was unable to fully digest it. It got stuck within the Beast's stomach for years. It only fell out after Bergeth received an injury on his stomach. During the years it spent in the Beasts stomach, its power changed. It grants its wearer +25 STR, +20 INT, +10 WIS, and reduced all acidic damage by 75%. Hidden Properties: Due to the great amounts of Bergeths magic contained in the ring. Only a Beast Man can wear it. If another Race tried to wear it, the mana would poison them.

Twin-Tail Wolf Hide(35) Rare Crafting Material

This Hide is from a Twin-Tail Wolf. It's much tougher than regular Wolf hide. It has very little magic, making it have very poor magic resistance. The Hide is lighter than normal Wolf Hide.

Twin-Tail Wolf Tails(6) Epic Crafting Material

These Tails were taken from a Twin-Tailed Wolf. The fur on the Tails are incredibly soft. The magic within the tail keeps them warm. The Tails provide very poor protection. They do contain the bulk of the Wolf's magic and Strength. This makes them incredible for accessories or decoration on armor.

I smile and destroy the statue. I collect the Soul Fragment and check the time. Dammit! It's almost noon. I don't have time to collect any resources. Oh well, I guess I can do it later. I did manage to get a lot thanks to my Mattocks. I think before going back to my apartment. I immediately get tackle-hugged by a familiar wolf girl. I start petting her and her tail wag.

"Welcome home Alpha!" Luna says and I smile.

"Thanks, Luna, oh! Here Luna. I got this today, it'll boost your Strength." I say while handing her the Ancient Wolf Ring. She takes it and puts it on with a smile. I hear someone cough from behind me and turn. I see Asami standing behind me with a smile on her face.

"Are you giving her special treatment?" Asami asks and I smile.

"No, I have something for you. Here, it's another Soul for your ring." I say while handing her the Greater Twin-Tailed Wolf Soul. She puts it in her ring and takes out another small green orb. She puts it in her Spacial Pouch. She then reaches out and I grab her hand.

"Wait! Maybe not inside. This one is pretty big." I say and she nods. "Where is Ramia?" I ask and she points upstairs.

"Did you get her a gift too? What about Innu?" Asami asks.

"I got something for her. But it's not ready yet." I say and she nods. I head upstairs and find Ramia in the Alchemy Workshop. She's alone and I clear my throat to get her attention.

"Eric, d-do you need something?" She asks and I nod.

"I found something for you while I was out." I say while taking the Ancient Blood Jar out of my inventory. "It contains Bergeths blood." I say and she goes wide-eyed. I've told her about Bergeth before, so she knows who he is. I set it down on the table and she turns to me. Before she says anything my alarm rings. I set it earlier to let me know I need to start getting ready. "Sorry, I need to get going." I say and Ramia nods.

"I'll see y-you later!" She says before kissing me. I hug her before leaving and going back to my apartment. I shower again, just to make sure I get off the Dungeon dirt. In the shower, I notice I have a few notifications. I open them and read them.
