A Battle Between Dragons

The ball of light shoots into the air above us. It grows bigger until two large wings shoot out of the sides. They start beating and the light fades. I see Eimbis and Barai flying above us, probably because there wasn't enough space down here because of the undead. I Observe them, more out of curiosity.

Eimbis/Barai Lvl 115, Class: Mythical, Title: Eric's Familiar, RP: 250, Hearts: 5, Weak: Water, Ice

HP: 31,000/31,000 MP: 16,000/16,000

They have 9,000 less HP and 14,000 less MP. But they have the elemental advantage. I think before looking back at the Lich. He's looking up at Barai and Eimbis in shock. I send them an order through the Mark. Eimbis, Barai, kill the Greater Undead Dragon! As soon as I complete the order they roar. They fly straight for the Undead Dragon and tackle it. The two Dragons fall to the ground with a booming crash sending a wave of sand in all directions.

"There goes your advantage." Riot says and the Lich grunts.

"Eric, can Eimbis and Barai take the Dragon?" Kallen asks me quietly.

"Maybe? The Undead Dragon has more raw strength. But Eimbis has fire. It's hard to say, but they can hold it off for a while at least." I reply and he nods.

"Then let's continue." Kagiyama says before running ahead. I follow after him and I see Riot running at us. He slams his foot on the ground ten feet away. As he does a shockwave move along it. It runs under us and I start sinking in the sand. I see Kallen and the others look at me shocked since they're not sinking.

"Nothing personnel kid. We just can't have the Flame Devil interfere." Riot says as several long boney hands jump from the sand. They're clearly monsters, but I can't tell what kind of monster. They grab onto me and I cast Flame Pillar. I make the pillar surround me and envelop me.

The arms burn away and I feel their drops slide against me. I store them away as I try to climb out of the sand. I take out my wings and beat them, giving me enough **** to get out. I land and see Kallen and Kagiyama fighting Riot and Barry. The Lich King is standing back and looking at me.

"Eric, take the Lich King!" Sugano shouts to me before sending a ball of water at Riot. I nod and see him bat it away like a baseball. His bat literally sends it away, nearly hitting Kallen. I jump over them with my wings and land a few feet away from the Lich.

"I must say, I'm surprised. I thought that trap would get you. But I guess I shouldn't have expected anything less." He says while the Undead Oni steps forward. "I'll enjoy turning you into one of my pets." He continues as the Oni lunges for me. After all my points into Agility, he moves much slower than when I fought them in their village. I run for it and dodge its punch aimed at my head. I use my Katanas Change Element Skill to change its damage to Demonic Fire. My blade turns dark red as I cut through the Oni's arm.

I cast Demonic Flame onto my Dagger and cut its leg as it passes me.

The Oni turns around and tries to kick me. I dodge and raise my Katana to cut it. Its foot connects with my blade and cuts into its leg. Its kick sends my blade deeper into its leg, going to its ankle then its knee.

I store the drop away and turn to the Lich. I expected to see him panicking, but he seems calm. He points his staff at me and three creatures leap from the sand behind him. They run toward me, almost as fast as the Undead Oni. I see they're Undead Werewolves and sigh. I cast Hydra with my Dagger and have each head bite one Werewolf each.

I make the heads toss them at one another. The three Werewolves crash into one another, causing their bones to break and one loses an arm. I cast Flame Pillar as they collide.

I store the drops away as I run through my Flame Pillar. I run up to the Lich King faster than he could react. I cut into his arm, cutting it off and going a few inches into his torso.

I immediately see an image from Clairvoyance. It shows a large cloud of dark fog consuming me. The fog seeps out of his wound and everywhere it touches becomes decayed. I immediately Blink back. The fog flies out of his arm and he sighs.

"That was close. I almost had you. But tell me, what kind of monster are you? That one attack nearly killed me. If it weren't for my magic, I'd certainly lose to you." He asks as the fog picks up his severed arm. It pulls it back and heals him. I Observe him to see he's back at full HP. He's missing 550 mana though. Great, this is like the battle with Fear all over again. Except his mana pool is much lower. Although, I could kill him with one hit from Annihilating Strike. I think before shrugging.

"I like to think of myself as a special human, not a monster." I say and he laughs.

"Well, what do you say to joining me?" He asks and I scoff.

"I'll pass. I like my current lifestyle. Besides, my girls would kill me if I even considered it." I say and he sighs.

"That's a shame. I'd have liked to save this skill for a later date. Oh well, I can see I have ****." He says before raising his staff. I ready my weapons and wait. A dark purple beam of light shoots out of his staff and goes straight up. It explodes and sends a wave of light in all directions. As it does, the undead stop. They all fall to the ground and turn into ash. The ash then flies back to him. It gathers and swirls around him. As it spins I hear a roar and turn to look. I see the Undead Dragon getting knocked down by flaming rocks. I see that it hasn't turned to ash and sigh. I turn back to the Lich as the ash settles.
