A B-ch party (--COSTUME CHANGE: Swimsuit Cosplay--)

"There's a nice secluded cove a little ways out of town," Saki said. "Everybody knows nothing happens last day of SAX but clean-up and stuff for latecomers. We're all just gonna go out and have fun!"

"A nice, quiet retreat... that sounds nice," Marigold said.

"It's a beach party," Kiona said, shaking her head at her poor, deluded friend. "Believe me, being quiet is the last thing on people's minds."

"Oh..."

"Don't mind her," Lynn said. "We'll be there and ready to party!"

"Wonderful!" Saki said. "Of course, it has a dress code..."

"Oh, don't worry." Lynn showed her teeth. "I think I have a few ideas for us."

Two tremendously successful days later, the BB brigade was ready to hit the beach. Lynn and Joy had scrambled to put together a last-minute beach set for the crew and succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. With great fanfare and more than a little self-congratulations, Lynn presented each of the gang with their custom swimsuits.

Terri got a sleek yellow two-piece, sporting a sports-bra like top and low-cut boyshorts. The top and bottoms laced up with brown string in back, subtly mimicking Tracer's outfit. Joy had even thrown together a tiny waterproof chrono-accelerator to make up for the otherwise plain suit. Topping it all off was a pair of yellow swim goggles meant to imitate Tracer's original headgear.

Lynn, of course, put the most work into her bikini. She'd made a multi-layer masterpiece of her bottoms: baby blue on top with pink highlights, and a skimpy black layer underneath with white patches on the strings that came almost all the way up to her waist. And, of course, a nice bunny logo dead centered on her butt. Her top was similarly put together, with skimpy black cups and a more substantial, if strapless, blue outer layer.

Kiona's suit was easy enough. She'd just found a nice navy blue one-piece with ties on the shoulders and used gold hoops to clip everything together. A few extra gold highlights, a few cartoon "missiles" added to the chest and she was set.

Joy's bikini was an icy blue-white with faux fur straps, but that wasn't the best part: she'd rigged a super soaker to fire pressurized water from a tank slung to her back. If people thought Mei was annoying when she was shooting ice, they were about to get an education.

Marigold took one look at her swimsuit and hid in her hotel room.
