As for Aaron's mind, its memories were like a duplicate of those in his soul. Still, they remained and were sent into the brain of this story's equivalent of Elon Musk in terms of success and advancements to humanity, not his specific businesses or ideologies (before he became a Trump-loving Nazi).

Besides his art being a little too contrived for my liking, it's good. Personally, I believe that one's creations should be separated from their actions, and although Elon isn't a good guy anymore, he did some good shit... at the beginning.]
While Aaron's body was sent into the distant past, thousands of years before the present, his soul was sent into his body at a point 37 years before he died (12 years before the apocalypse starts).
On an added note, this world is like Earth but very different, and I'm gonna mention things from our world for simplicity's sake, don't expect me to harshly chop in 80 some countries and 40 new planets.
