sub-wish options: I want to go back in time

In this scenario, Aaron didn't wish for zombies; he wished to travel back in time. That way, he wouldn't be another poor person walking the streets, and could do things right, becoming someone important, rather than in his current state. Aaron was bleeding out, his arm was infected with a new variant engineered by a large, emerging faction to counteract the vaccine, and his crotch was bitten off by a big zombie, not a pretty way to go out.

As for what he's achieved during this apocalypse, Aaron was a decent shot, but not good enough to get into the sniper core, and his other combat stats were below desired levels, putting him in infantry. Aaron was lucky enough not to get hit lethally and have freedom of choice in defensive gear, using an experimental **** he got ages ago to put heavier gear on his front. Aaron was plagued with muscle spasms and several defects relating to the **** that made him seem like he was an inbred 100 generations down, with a limp dick in a Viagra-less world. He was just as perverted as any man, but with his issues, people thought Aaron was their weak monster with a chivalrous spirit... and gay. He got **** in the ass, a lot. But Aaron simply didn't see a need to keep a woman around him if he couldn't gain any real pleasure from it. In this way, Aaron became a protector of maidens, maintaining his humanity that so many people had lost in the squalor and havoc of modern times. But now Aaron was dying, his final fight being an epic last stand after one of the projectiles at his head actually managed to get past his steel face mask this time, landing him in the ICU of his faction's hospital, his minor fame and acclaim gaining him decent medical aid, enabling him to get up as his base was being raided.

During this last stand, Aaron protected a hallway for 13 minutes against waves of attackers bringing spears and bullets. He only fell when the attackers managed to get to the other side by going around, ending up as one of the last people to fall, experiencing his faction's horrific use of zombies and civilians, now unleashed, smashing through to the wall to this concentration of combatants, biting off Aaron's dick as a little gremlin bit his arm before being killed by a spear. Now, Aaron watches as zombies eat the bodies or attack the living humans, his wish being fulfilled as he's launched into the past.

New stuff: World lore: In this zombie apocalypse, the world fell after a few weeks, with the world trying to prepare or deal with the coming dangers. Geniuses from around the world came together to stop it, but there was a mistake in the labs, and although a cure was made, it wasn't distributed worldwide, causing the zombie virus to go from its super airborne form, weakening the immune system first, to being bite-based and far more mutative. Suddenly, billions of humans were turned, and the possibility for numerous variants emerged, but the zombie virus as a strain could no longer evolve on its own, only changing how it changed its hosts. This allowed for a proper and singular cure for those not turned, a vaccine that stops the virus from so easily infecting them. Soon after, what remained of humanity fell into various groups that adapted to this world, warring over lands and resources. Aaron was infected because another faction made a new variant to bypass his faction's vaccine, possibly at the cost of mankind.
