13. She continues the day unmolested

Arleth travels for the better part of the day. Cautious now, she encounters no one and nothing on her path. As the sun starts to set in the west, she finds the crook of a tree and beds down. As an elf, she only needs to trance for a few hours to feel fully rested, and she hopes nothing will find her in her vulnerable four hours.

When she awakes, the night has fully set in. Now that she has the stars to navigate by, she decides to take stock of her surroundings again.
