12. She’s now 3 days away

Malene knows where she is and she knows she’s gotten farther away from her goal. When she woke there were two and a half days to go. She’s run backwards and off course far enough that when she wakes tomorrow she’ll have three days to go. She groans, but is glad she at least has equipment now.

She knows she’s wounded and needs to rest. Time to look around for somewhere safe to sleep.
