12. It doesn’t look like a healing potion but she can’t tell what it is

As he works, Malene knows enough to know he isn’t making a healing potion. He adds some mysterious mushrooms that she doesn’t recognize and a few herbs that seem entirely unrelated to healing. But she can’t quite figure out what he’s making.

“Here.” He hands her the bowl.

Malene pauses. “That’s not a healing potion.”

“Very astute.” Something in the man’s tone of voice scares Malene, “but it will help you. It’s the equivalent of a full night’s rest.”
