Joshua was unfortunately for Lara a very responsible dog owner keeping her on a leash every time they went out and the few occasions it did come off like at the dog park it was always a place Lara was unfamiliar with and she didn't fancy trying to navigate home at her size, so Joshua's dog she remained which wasn't all bad given the family was quite well off so she spent most days playing in the yard which was difficult at first as going from two legs to quadrupedal movement was easy for simple slow walking but running and jumping required much more practice which she got in the form of all kinds of petplay, the frisbee was Lara's current favourite as it gave her a sense of accomplishment and progress every-time she caught it, the house also had plenty of room indoors with lots of great places to nap which she loved, even the quality pet food was better than expected, while it at first it disgusted her to even try it once she did she found her K9 sense of taste found it delicious.

Actually the more she thought about it the less she wanted to return to her old life which is why she would need to make an attempt soon, luck-ally Joshua been inadvertently making Lara transform bigger usually when the family asked why the puppy wasn't getting any larger but it was still slow going and if she waited too much longer she probably wouldn't want to go, with that in mind she decided after the next growth she was going to take the first chance to escape.
