**Locations**

Autumn Valley - a grassy valley region where Sunset Haven, Sunrise Hills, Mistwood, and Silver Creek are located. It has pleasant weathers the entire year, with the occasional cold in the Winter. The whole region was known for its forests, mines, and the few lakes dotting the landscape.

Sunset Haven - It’s the small town in Northern California, in a region called Autumn Valley, where the story takes place. It was founded by a group of clans that arrived in that spot around the year 1850, searching for mining and fishing opportunities, and ended up finding sapphires, besides fighting against the oppression of the local family at the time, the Blakes. The growth of Ravers Enterprises stole the spotlight and put the two families, Ravers and Blake, at odds. Located by Misty Lake, it’s a small, cozy town of roughly 12,000 inhabitants, fueled mainly by tourism, trade, and mining. Old figures of hunters, miners, and fishermen are valued for their roles in the history of Sunset Haven.

Ravers Manor - the manor where the Ravers family lives in town. It's located in the nicest residential area of Sunset Haven, at the end of a neighborhood called Asher Lane. It's a huge mansion with lots of bedrooms, living rooms, a dining room, a ballroom, a couple of offices, a library, a big kitchen, a pool, tennis and basketball courts, a huge garage, amongst other types of rooms. A big iron gate with the family crest of a lion emblazoned protects the property.

Asher Lane - a neighborhood lined with mansions and big houses on the northwestern part of the town. Notable residents include the Blakes, Ashfords, Castles, and of course, the Ravers family.

River Heights - an upper-class neighborhood near the Spear River where a few old families live, such as the Stewarts, Lakefields, Smiths, and Lennox (Gary’s side).

Oceanic Bay - the upper-middle-class neighborhood in the southeast of the town, near the lake, where the Walker, Morrison, and Miller families live. The Walkers live on Atlantic Drive, while the Morrisons, and Millers live on Baltic Street. The Campbell, Adams, and Pryce families also live in this neighborhood.

Sapphire Grove – the middle-class neighborhood where the Cobalt Drive cul-de-sac is located, on the southern part of the town. It’s where the Bishops, McRoses, Westhers, Woodsens, Riveras, Cole-Austens, Whites, Roberts, and Hudsons live. The Soren-Wildes will move there at the start of the story. Shares a border with the Oceanic Bay neighborhood.

Loch Lane - a street in a middle-class neighborhood, in the eastern part of the town, where a few families live. Such as the Coburns, Rossis, Zimmers, and the Thorntons.

Conduit Street - a street in a working class neighborhood near the southwest of the town. The Jacksons, Evans, and Phillips are some of the families that live here.

Ravers Enterprises - a big company chain whose main unit is located in Sunset Haven, owned by the Ravers family. Robert Ravers is the current CEO. The largest one in the Autumn Valley region.

RedTech - The technology and software company co-owned by Ciara Zander and Kathryn Miller.

Sunset Haven High School - The school attended by the town's high schoolers. Its colors are dark blue, with silver trim. The sports teams go by Azure Wolves for the boys, and Azure Foxes for the girls. The school newspaper is The Outlook. The Cheerleading Squad goes by Sunset Sinners, and the dance team is called the Sunset Harlots. Offers female soccer, male football, and male basketball as its sports. It has a well-respected drama club as well. The mascot is a blue wolf.

Aquamarine Elementary and Middle School - the elementary and middle school at Sunset Haven. Sarah Woodsen works there as a teacher.

Sunset Haven General Hospital - The town's hospital, it has been managed by the Bishop family for generations. A few characters work there as doctors or nurses.

Baby Blues - a private practice clinic owned by Monica Bishop, an Ob/Gyn doctor. Diane Westher also works there as a pediatrician, and Erin Roberts is the secretary.

Sunset Haven Police Department - The town's police department, a few characters work there. Gabe Bishop and Carlos Rivera, most notably.

Misty Square - a square that looks like a small park, with a lot of green and trees, located in the very center of downtown Sunset Haven. Several shops and stores are located around it and in adjacent streets. Located by Misty Lake, hence the name.

Chevalier - A cozy coffee shop and bookstore, it’s the preferred hangout spot for people who love to read a good book or drink some delicious coffee. If you like both, you’re pretty much set. Owned by Malcolm Campbell. Zack Bishop and Alice Phillips have part-time jobs there on alternating evenings. The name comes from a character in an old series of books that Malcolm likes. Located in one of the streets around Misty Square.

The Sunset Courier - The town's newspaper, owned by the Walker family and managed by Olivia Walker.

Alfred's - An old diner and burger shop near Misty Square, owned by Alfred Pryce. The teenagers can often be seen there.

Sweet Delights - the bakery owned by Carol White. Offers a wide selection of sweet, tasty treats for all kinds of customers to enjoy.

Mic Waves - one of the nightly hangout spots in Sunset Haven, has open mic nights for karaoke and stand up comedy on alternate days. Also opens in the afternoon on weekends. Owned by Stella Bishop.

Captain's Cove - A bar owned by a former marine, Grant Phillips, decorated with pirate stuff. This is where Hannah taught Ashley and Zack how to play pool. The owner often has problems with small gangers.

Stereo Land - A place that sells and fixes musical instruments, CDs and old records. Once a huge hanging out spot for teens and young people, it’s fading from popularity since everyone turned to digital records and streaming. The only ones who still go there are people wishing to buy old albums and musical instruments. Owned by Ezra Griffin. Scarlett Soren and Wendy Lloyd have a part-time job here.

Seacourt Mall - A place with a variety of stores and places to eat. It has a movie theater and an adult store where people can buy sex-related stuff and use a glory hole. Was a personal project of Hendrik Blake in a partnership with Calvin Smith, conceived and built to replace the old, decaying mall. Generated a huge profit for the family. Other recent features are a sporting goods store (where Trent Thornton and Louis Darrell sometimes work) and an arcade. Tabitha Coburn also owns a store here.

Beryl Bank - a bank that belongs to the Blake family, opened after much profit was made from the mining of sapphires. It has a partnership with the Golden Safe Bank, a bigger bank from Quartz City. The current manager is Arthur Blake, having been handed the reins by his father, Basil.

The Ebony - a modern, beautiful hotel that belongs to Hendrik Blake. It housed the original Sunset Hotel, but after years of abandonment due to the advent of smaller businesses, Hendrik bought it with plans of entering the tourism business.

Ashford Chemicals - a laboratory complex that belongs to the Ashford family. It produces remedies, medicaments, and ****. A scandal with faulty birth control pills twenty years ago rocked the company, but didn’t manage to bring its end.

Smith Industries - a steel factory founded and owned by the Smith family. Business is booming with all the construction around Sunset Haven and nearby cities.

Sports Complex – A public space where the community can take part in a series of sports and activities, located near the mall. It has an outdoor basketball court, an indoor tennis court, a room with foosball tables and table tennis, and two large pools.

Jackson Repairs - An auto shop opened by Mason Jackson several years ago. Carl Miller and Matt Richardson work there.

The Lakeside - A cozy restaurant owned and managed by Vanessa Austen. It's geared toward everyone, with several price ranges. Built in the town's early years, it has always been managed by an Austen family member. It’s located in a nice spot in downtown Sunset Haven, overlooking Misty Lake. Madison Cole sometimes helps her mother in the office.

Woodsen Law Firm - a large law firm owned by Ephraim Woodsen. Damon Woodsen worked there before becoming District Attorney. Roy McRose was recently hired after making some relatively good success on his own.

Haven Inn - an old inn that Richard Walker bought about ten years ago and renovated it without making it lose its classical charm and looks. It's a considered one of the jewels of Sunset Haven. Not a small business, but not big enough to compete with luxurious hotels either. Has a cozy, family vibe. Located by Misty Lake, in downtown Sunset Haven.

Cole Cars - a dealership for new and used cars owned by Waldon Cole. Usually buys out other used car shops that pop up in Sunset Haven from time to time.

Rossi’s - an old pizzeria that has been in the Rossi family for a few generations. Luca Rossi is the current owner, and the place is managed by him and his family. Those who have been there always claim they have never eaten a more delicious pizza.

Pet Point - the veterinary clinic owned by Amelia Bishop, though she barely works there nowadays. The preferred destination for all things related to pets, from medical problems to toys. Also has a shelter for stray animals waiting to be adopted.

Sunset Haven Public Library - the town’s public library, located across the road from Misty Square. It’s kind of large, and has old editions of the Sunset Courier available for people to browse. The current librarian is Agatha Zimmer.

Nash Austen Theatre - a community theatre located near Misty Square, it’s bigger than the auditorium in the school. Managed by Gideon Bishop.

Sunset Haven Museum - located by the lake, it’s filled with art pieces and articles that tell the story of Sunset Haven, its families, and prominent citizens. Managed by Thaddeus Florence.

Sparkles - the dance studio owned by Kensley Thornton. Offers a nice variety of courses, between dance styles and yoga.

Silky Threads - the hair salon that became the preferred option for Sunset Haven girls ever since it recently opened. Owned by Cora Evans, who brought her skills from her time living in her hometown of Emerald Shores.

Fundae - an ice-cream parlor downtown that belongs to Susan Rivera. It serves the most delicious ice cream in Sunset Haven in generations. Lisa sometimes helps her mother there.

Comic Citadel - the main hangout spot for geeks and nerds of every kind, who sometimes call it by simply “The Citadel”. Sells comic books, action figures, video games, cosplaying articles, etc. Has a few rooms in the basement for D&D. Owned by Nick Ross. Sharon very reluctantly works there part-time as a cashier.

Power Zone - a big gym in downtown Sunset Haven owned by the Zimmer family, offers all kinds of facilities a fitness center would need. Also offers massages, which might, on rare occasions, lead to a happy ending. Mark Roberts and Michelle Staples are fitness instructors here, while Michelle also does massages. Kaleb Oakley is the other masseuse. Wyatt Zimmer is the owner, having remodeled the family’s old supermarket into a gym when a bigger market chain opened stores in Sunset Haven.

Zaffre Gardens - an area of downtown Sunset Haven populated by big and wealthy businesses, between the center and River Heights.

Blake Real Estate - the real estate company owned by Hendrik Blake, owns several properties across Sunset Haven. Located in Zaffre Gardens.

Lakefield Boutique - the clothing store that belongs to the Lakefield Family. Specializes in fine-tailoring, selling suits, dresses, and underwear, both for men and women. The manager is Jasper Lakefield and has a few employees of both genders, one of the most notable ones being Edward Shearer, who’s Jasper’s right-hand man. Located in Zaffre Gardens.

Lennox - an exclusive, expensive restaurant that’s frequented by people who want to be seen there. Owned by Gary Lennox, he sometimes gets irritated by the fact that the Lakeside is often chosen as the best restaurant of Sunset Haven. Located in Zaffre Gardens.

Stone Plains - an old area of the town that’s now filled with warehouses, decaying residences, and small businesses that can’t relocate to the center. Located towards the west side, near the road that leaves town to the south.

Rusty’s - an old bar in Stone Plains with the reputation of having mostly criminals as its patrons. Most people stay clear of the place, though brave ones looking to score some easy money might want to take their chances.

Ultimate - An old brick warehouse converted into a nightclub. Has been a huge hit in recent times amongst the teens and young adults after Kaysen Morrison bought the place and renovated it. Located in Stone Plains.

Cherry Peak: An overlook with a great view of Sunset Haven in the background. Couples normally drive there for a nice, quiet time together, the name being derived from how many cherries get plucked in the spot.

Tourmaline - A strip club in the outskirts of Sunset Haven. Shady stuff often happens there. The silent owner is Gary Lennox.

Bishop Ranch: located at an isolated spot on the outskirts of Sunset Haven, it's an old ranch that's the ancestral home of the Bishop family, back when they first came to town. Members of the family always took care of it, and often lived at the place as well. Nowadays, Gabriel Bishop and his wife, Amelia Bishop, live in it with his parents, Xavier and Hilda. His sons and grandchildren visit for a few weeks every summer, though sometimes they drop by during the year as well, due to the relatively near location of the ranch.

Krauser Mansion: An old mansion and property overlooking Misty Lake in Sunset Haven. Has been abandoned ever since the 70’s after the last family member passed away. Originally Sunset Haven citizens, the Krausers were very reclusive according to people that lived in town at the time, hence why they ended up building a definite home near that lake. Since they did not mingle too much, the last Krauser died before he could have children, so the house was closed down and time ensured it got a reputation for being haunted. Local kids used to dare each other to enter the place to see if the rumors were true.

Meechie's (created by boomer97) - a gas station, diner, and grocery store located on the road to Silver Creek. The family has lived in Sunset Haven for decades.

Silver Creek - a popular vacation spot about two hours to the southeast of Sunset Haven. Wealthy families own cabins around the nicer Silver Lake, whereas the working class families populate the nearby Splash Lake. A park, called Silver Creek Park, is located nearby as well.


OTHER TOWNS' LOCATIONS

Sunrise Hills High School - located in a neighboring town, three hours to the west, they are the rivals of Sunset Haven High School. Their colors are dark gray and white, and their mascot is a rhino. The sports teams are called Sunrise Hills Rhinos and the cheerleaders are the Sunrise Hills Wenches. The school paper is called the Stony Scribe.

Dragon Lake College - located in the small town of Mistwood, three hours and a half to the northwest of Sunset Haven, it almost looks like a mystic place, entrenched in rich-colored woods and built next to a beautiful lake. It has several unmatched programs in different fields, and provides options such as law school and medical school to graduates. Its colors are dark green and brown, and their mascot is a dragon, who locals jokingly say it’s slumbering in the depths of the lake. It’s the place most of the gang will go when they head to college. Justin Hill is the dean.

Quartz City University - a big university located in Quartz City. Its colors are white and sky-blue, and its mascot is a Yeti. A lot of people that live there end up going to Dragon Lake College, though, to escape from the bleak atmosphere of the city.


The Other Towns

Sunrise Hills - a town located three hours to the west of Sunset Haven. Home of Sunrise Hills High School. Has a population of about 50,000 people.

Mistwood - a very small town located about three hours to the northwest of Sunset Haven. Its notoriety comes from existing next to Dragon Lake College. Their population is almost entirely composed of students and people who work at the College. Justin Hill, Byron Woodsen, and Kendall McGowan are notorious residents.

Emerald Shores - a coastal town located across the country on the East Coast, a heavy hit for tourists. Amber’s family lived there for a few years. Keith Simpson's family currently lives there.

Quartz City - a very large city several hours to the north of Sunset Haven. Lots of companies and businesses are based here and the society is quite rotten and greedy. Home of the Nordstein family and their company, NordTech. Home of Graves family and their company, the Golden Safe Bank.
