“These are 2 odd pairing,” you say aloud. You go to the computer to google Dr. Jayson Jefferson and the Multiverse to learn what this is and why you received the anonymous gift. After hours of research that only seemed to be crazed conspiracy theories, you grabbed the paperback book and opened it up to see what it was. The table of contents made it look partially like a book of hypothetical concepts of inter dimensional physics and energy theories of travel plus an owner’s manual.

Not feeling adequately prepared to try and understand the physicist writings you skip to the owner’s manual portion. “Oh that’s why these are together,” you blurt to no one, “the pocket watch is the time key!” You begin experimenting with the idea that changing setting on the unassuming watch and then spinning it over your head could give you some kind of access to another dimension. Suddenly a portal opened up above your head and you were looking up through it to look down on your room?

It looked different though as if some events had been different. This must be what that chapter about infinite realities of choice meant. You grab a bar stool from the kitchen and stand on it causing you to feel queasy as you were now upright in one universe and upside down in another. As you stood there the door starts to open.
