It was a long shot, but if she wanted to save herself from the hands of Kyran Cadell she had to try. Nezihe bolted forward, running between the men trying to place her in the collar.

She barely made it two feet before the guards grabbed her arms, holding her fast. One placed the collar around her neck, locking it in place while the other held her hands behind her back. Her hands were clipped into cuffs on either end of the device. The metal was heavy on her shoulders and she stumbled as they dragged her forward. She looked back and saw Amaia retreating into the shadows as she was guided back out of the dungeon.
