[P] Suvia awakes

Sunrise breaks over a clearing. On the banks of a stream cutting its way through the glade is an athletic girl. Her golden hair spills out across the moss of the river bank and her slightly sunkissed skin glows in the morning light. Suvia opens her eyes. She examines herself. She lifts her wrists to see the shackles binding them together. ‘Not as bad as it could be’ she thinks.

She sighs as she realizes the sun is coming up. She won’t be able to navigate by the stars. She decides to wait for nightfall before beginning her travels. Better to lose a day staying still than lose a day going in the wrong direction. The forest was dangerous outside her glade and her primary objective now that she had been cast out for her coming of age ceremony was to return home unbred by the denizens of the woods. The test was to see if you could use your knowledge of the forest to get home safely. Then and only then could she be welcomed back.
