[Encounter] Kobolds

Aeylin immediately kicks at one of the kobolds behind her [22] > [6, 16] and instantly knocks all the air out of its lungs [7 dmg] it lays immobile on the ground.

The Kobalt sorcerer and leader of the pack concentrates and casts the heightened spell charm person on the mare but fails to work its magic [17]. Aeylin fires an arrow at him before it can come up with any other tricks [22 > 14, 15] and nearly takes him out, the arrow almost as long as it is tall sticking out of its arm. She then casts shield of faith on herself.

Each of the 3 remaining kobolds takes a swing at her [23 > 20, 6] and each lands a hit with their clubs on her flanks. [-4] [-2] [-2]

Almost like she doesn't care she fires another at their leader [23 > 13, 17] and devastates any hope for them to win this battle, the remaining kobolds scatter.

The fallen kobolds appear to have nothing of value so she has **** but to press on.

[Event 3 Hostile location/Dugeon/SHRINE]

As she enters the next chamber she discovers a large room with all sorts of glowing gems on the walls, it actually appears to be a cave of sorts within the structure.. more likely that the structure had been building over it. She currently walks along a narrow ridge that transitions into a massive staircase, somewhere down below she can see a large pedestal illuminated by a large gem hanging from the roof of the structure. Behind the pedestal is some sort of oval-shaped construction.. almost like a large mirror but hollow.. a portal of sorts that isn't activated yet. She walks towards it and places her hand on it, it doesn't emanate any magic as far as she can tell..

She turns to the pedestal, and an inscription reads, Place your hand upon me and think of the place you seek and it shall find you, only to those worthy shall be revealed the door to what they seek. She places her hand on the pedestal and tries to find out what kind of magic it is, she feels it tug at her mana.. and suddenly the portal opens, revealing her realm.. her home!

She glances back behind her.. knowing that Gideon and her other Angelic Guards are still somewhere in this land.. or at least.. well.. she can't be certain, maybe they have found their way back already and if not she might be able to use this new rift and come back for them with reïnforcements.

As she transcends the portal it collapses behind her, once again proving to be a one way trip. Unbeknownst to her tough.. it was a Gate of False Home.. [Wisdom check 14/25] 1d4 (even is true) 1 portal type: FALSE]
