[Encounter] Animated Armour

• Turn order AA -> Ae.

The enchanted armour set unsheathes its sword raising it above its helmet, it comes slashing down in one swift motion as it takes a step forward adding to the momentum. [AA 17]
[Ae 17] Just in time, Aeylin trots backward. Almost synchronously with the Suits forward step. The suit casts: Compelled duel preventing the mare from retreating. And switches to a battle stance.

Aeylin is dazzled, she would want to have a ranged advantage but every muscle in her body prevents her from moving any step away from this thing.. Instead, she staggers, her hoofs aiming for its helmet [Ae NATURAL 1] The suit responds immediately raising its shield, and pushes the mare backward, nearly making her lose balance.

The suit casts freeze on the mare and slashes its sword out in an arc. [AA 17] [7 dmg] It slices across her stomach but somehow doesn't make her bleed, it does however make her scream in pain as she feels nearly all her health fade away in an instant.

She reaches for her wakened dragon vessel and wishes it filled with a potion of superior healing, chugging it down instantly. A wave of energy radiates throughout her core topping her up on lifeforce.
Now free of its spell she attempts to flee [20] and manages to create a large gap between the two of them.

The Armour pursues her [17] and finds himself within arms reach, it jabs at the mare. [AA Natural 1] The blade fails to connect as it miscalculates his reach.

Aeylin casts herself in shield of faith before she kicks at the armor. [Ae19] > [AA NATURAL 1] With the suit still in its **** jabbing position she kicks him straight in the face.. if it had one, instead the helmet dents and creaks as her hooves nearly make it topple over. [3 dmg]

The suit recovers and flings its sword upwards [AA 21] >
[Ae 10, 21] [8 dmg] The mare feels it slide through her, another incredible sign of pain coursing through her nervous system. She feels on the brink of fainting. Finally, the suit casts freeze again preventing her from taking action.

Aeylin feels stuck, she wants to kick and run but her legs won't move.. she can still use her hands but her brain pains as she reaches for her bow. She decides to wait it out.

Then the armor goes in for another strike [AA 12] < [Ae 16] but misses, it repositions itself to her flank.

The Mare feels as if a cold sensation fades and dashes off with Expeditious retreat [NAT 1, 22]
For but a moment her muscles cramp as if they hadn't warmed up as of yet, but then she's off! She rushes towards the treeline hoping to shake off this dangerous foe.

[20] The magical suit follows and manages to catch up, it jumps and slashes down its sword [AA 14] <- [Ae 9,6] His sword strikes true and tears through the Centauress remaining lifeforce and a portion of her stamina. [6 dmg]

The Aeylin retaliates and draws her bow.. She hopes she can faint where she'll shoot in order to avoid its shield. [Ae22] > [AA12, 4]
She pretends to aim for its legs and just as he lowers his shield aims up, the arrow flying straight into the gaps of the helmet, metal against metal clanks while the arrow connects and tumbles through. [8 Dmg] She can see its figure slumping, the armor on the verge of collapse.

She makes a final dash in a last effort to escape or gain an advantage [10] she only gets a couple of steps before the suit attacks her again [AA 14] < [Ae17] and she has to make a hop not to have her legs hit. She uses the opertunity to take another shot
[Ae 21] > [AA19] and with a loud "TUNK-Kbhmp-pmhp-pm" the entire suit collapses [6 Dmg]

The mare wipes the sweat from her brows and praises the gods.. that was close.
