I wanted to write a Part 2 to this, but I ran out of time and moved on to the next prompt. It was going to be a choose your own ending sort of thing, where you could see if Lana would be rescued or not. Until I decide this story is worth revisiting, I'll leave the details of the "true" ending to your imaginations.

I wish my time wasn't at such a premium these days. Little else would give me greater joy than the opportunity to write for as long as I want to everyday. C'est la vie.
