"That's It, I'm Done !"

Debbi was getting seriously fatigued. She had been cycling for 90 minutes already and every now and again some distant cheer or overheard remark reminded her of the degrading situation she was in, performing naked for such an extended period of time. She was standing on the pedals more and more as the seat became uncomfortable and her rear view was becoming the most popular with other members of staff and visitors who were passing. Carol had brought her water and a foul tasting energy bar of some sort but these had done little to alleviate the fatigue.

She looked down at the display. 15Km. There was no way she could cycle another ten. Sod it, she thought. She slowly eased her speed and got off of the bike, a little unsteady on her feet. "That's it, I'm done" she announced. "But you've only done 15 Km" Diane objected, glancing at the read out from the system. "What about the sponsorship ?" she argued. "Stuff the sponsorship" retorted Debbi. "Anyway, I was being sponsored per mile, or kilometre or whatever. They'll have to put up with 15K's worth."

In fact, Diane wasn't too disappointed. Sure, it would have been fun to have Debbi out there for even longer but 90 minutes worth was more than enough and Stew had all that footage to edit. Recovering her equilibrium after so long on the bike and mustering as much dignity as she could, Debbi marched resolutely to the lift. It wasn't until she had entered it and was on the way back up to her office that it registered with her that she was still naked !

It was a week later when Diane accosted Jeff in his office. "You know we got the loan of that workout bike and simulation in exchange for letting them show the film of Debbi on it in their shop ?" Diane began. "Uh huh" Jeff agreed. "Well, they happened to have a visit from the sales rep of the manufacturer and now they want to know if they can use the film for advertising in cinemas across the country. I agreed provisionally but thought I'd better run it past you."

"Wouldn't it be a bit risqué for cinemas ?" Jeff wondered. "What with her being naked and all ?"

"They said that was no problem, they'd only book slots where the movie was rated PG or above" Diane explained. "And they'll pay for this presumably ?" Jeff asked. "Handsomely" Diane confirmed. "Oh well then, OK, fine. Excellent. Well done Diane. Um, do you think we should ask Debbi ?" he added as an afterthought. "No need to worry her pretty little head" Diane said condescendingly. "I spoke with Karen in HR and she's sure it would all be covered under the terms of her employment contract."

"Oh, good. Audrey and I haven't been to the movies for ages. Be sure to let me know when it's going to be shown" said Jeff. "For sure, probably won't be for a month or two" laughed Diane.
