I equip my weapon, still wearing my armor from yesterday. Myla pulls out a small scroll.

"What's that?" I ask her pointing to it.

"This is a magic scroll. Liz created it with another Lyna who can cast Enter Dungeon. Unrolling it will cast the spell but destroy the scroll." Myla answers looking around to double check if anyone's watching. I use Observe on the scroll out of curiosity.

Magic Scroll: Enter Dungeon

This scroll contains the magic of the Enter Dungeon spell. Unrolling it will unleash the magic laying dormant within. This scroll was created by a powerful Sensor who put the magic in a sleep like state.

New Skill: Enter Dungeon Lvl 1

Enter Dungeon lets the caster enter a dungeon they didn't make. the caster's level is used to determine the rate of success.

Myla asks if we're ready again and we both nod. She unrolls the scroll and the world around us spins and turns. Once everything stops moving I look around. I see we're standing in the middle of a swamp. There's trees stretching far above us with vines hanging from their branches and trunks. Then I look down and see water going just past my toes but not reaching my ankles. Its now when I realize I never thought to make armored boots. I sigh and turn back to Hino and Myla.

"So should we just pick a direction?" I ask and Hino shakes her head no and points to my left.

"I can see some faint tracks going this this way." She says, I'm about to ask how when she continues. "I'm a water specialist. That's been my family's magic school since before the guild was founded so I can tell by the way the water feels." I nod intrigued and curious how she uses water and gauntlets to fight. Suddenly I remember the daily quest I got two days ago. After thinking a bit I decide it'd be best to ask them.

"Hey Myla, can I get your help in testing something out?" I ask her. She looks at me confused but hesitantly nods. After a few minutes of trying and fortunately not encountering any Fishman I get a notification that makes me smile.

I smile and accept causing Myla to nearly shout in shock.

"What is it?" Hino asks looking around for Fishman.

"I see something. It's a small box with words." Myla replies worried. I have to stop myself from laughing and explain what I wanted to test with her. She nods and hesitantly accepts the party invite. I send one to Hino as well. When they accept I see in my upper left two health and mana bars with their faces next to them.

New Skill: Mana Shield Lvl 1

Mana Shield lets the caster create a wall of mana to protect the target. The shield absorbs (INT × 0.25) damage before breaking. Cannot be used on the caster. MP Cost: 15

"So this is how your power looks." Hino says, I'm not sure if she's impressed or shocked. "Hold on. I see something." She crouches down and I look to where she's pointing. I see a Fishman about 100 feet away. Its not what I expected. It has the body of a man. Its hairless head is fish like, with fish eyes, gills and mouth. It has two arms with one holding a tooth bladed wood sword. Its lower half is like a human and has a brown loin cloth. Its entire body is covered in slimy scales. I use Observe on it.

Observe will now mark up to three targets and display any elemental weaknesses.

I reuse Observe to find outs it's elemental weakness.

"It's weak to lightning, my Observe skill leveled up." I tell them. They look at me shocked.

"That's a useful skill you've got." Myla says sighing. "However I use light magic and Hino uses water." I nod and get an idea.

"Can you two show me your weapons?" I ask. They nod and bring their weapons closer to me, a bit confused at why. I cast Thunder on them and they get engulfed in lightning, sparking along the metal. I draw my katana and cast it on mine as well before bringing my Dark Claws out.

"Oh I can already tell having you here is going to make this a lot easier." Hino says smiling looking down at her sparking gauntlets. We slowly make our way close to the Fishman stopping 20 feet away.

"We can't get closer without alerting it." Myla says.

"I can attack it with Thunder from here, are you ready?" I ask. Myla nods but Hino grabs my shoulder, turning me to face her.

"Only cast one. I can tell from the water there's a lot of them and the boss is still an unknown so try to conserve mana if you can. Remember we got your back and you've got ours, okay?" She asks. I nod and thank her for that and cast Thunder.

The Fishman turns and sees us. Hino charges it and it raises its sword to attack. She dodges and hits it in its face.

Myla and I follow after and each land an attack on its back after it turned to face Hino, Myla getting their before me.

The Fishman turns back and swings its sword. I notice to late and put my Dark Claws up to block it. Before it hits Myla runs in and blocks it with her shield. Hino hits it from behind and it falls down.

Common Ingredient Drop

"Ingredient drop?" Myla asks.

"You can see it?" I ask her.

"Yep, also during the battle, it's nice to see the damage we're doing. Also I'm impressed you did more than me." Hino says.

"Thanks." I say picking up the meat that dropped. "And to answer your question Myla, most monsters drop something when slain, mostly crafting supplies. This is the first ingredient item though." I use Observe on the meat before storing it in my material bag.

Fishman Meat Common Ingredient

This meat has been taken from a Fishman. It is safe to eat and nutritious. It tastes like tuna.

"You two ready to move on?" Myla asks as Hino and I stand where the Fishman was. We nod and start walking away.
