Your throat runs dry, but not wanting to risk testing the vampire, you blurt out, "E-easy way!"

Victoria waves her hand. Then, your mouth opens in disbelief as a tiny tear in space forms next to her with a terrifying screech. Your knees shake as you hear wails of pain from whatever lies beyond. It might just be you, but you feel like the room temperature has also dropped significantly, causing you to shiver in place.

The vampire hums, ever so relaxed, as her hand dips into the tear and pulls out a scroll. After getting what she needs, she flicks her finger in the air, then the tear closes, leaving ominous silence. Finally, she opens the scroll and hands it to you, eying you with eager hunger.

You take the piece of paper, trembling like an old man, and recognize the paper to be a sort of contract:

Aaron Duncan shall hereby, on the signing of this blood contract, be the husband and lover to Victoria Dragoth.

Aaron Duncan shall not so much look at another woman or else lose his sight until forgiven by Victoria Dragoth.

Aaron Duncan shall not so much touch another woman or else lose all sensations until forgiven by Victoria Dragoth.

Aaron Duncan shall be teleported close to Victoria Dragoth if not within ten meters.

Aaron Duncan must have sex with Victoria Dragoth at least once daily. Otherwise, he shall experience tremendous hunger over the lack of love.

"Darling," Victoria sings sweetly, causing chills to run down your spine, "What's the matter? Silence reigns at your interruption. Your eyes widen as you realize you misspoke without thinking. Soon, a chillness rises from the floor.

Her tone is tense, almost in disbelief at your foolish words. You don't dare to look at the vampire further, afraid of what sort of expression she might develop.

Shutting your eyes tightly, you try to excuse yourself.

While you are under the influence of fear, you're not lying either. Vampires have unparalleled beauty in exchange for being very grey in tone. If it weren't for her domineering presence that holds you down, you'd be staring in awe instead.

You hope dearly she might understand, and to your relief, she sighs. The chilliness on the ground fades, leaving only your own cold body temperature.
