Monster Yanderes

Monster Yanderes

As much of a monster on the inside as they are out.

Chapter 1 by Dark_Warlock Dark_Warlock

Hey guys, Warlock here. I decided to write this story mostly so I don't forget to later, but also because I find the concept really interesting, and I hope you do as well. This was partially inspired by Dangerous ASMR on Youtube, and the image is from BangBooDoragon on DeviantArt. Now, I didn't write monstergirls in the title because some of you might want to write (Or have me write) chapters with monsterboys, stories where both characters are monsters, maybe even some told from the perspective of the yandere! In the comments below, let me know what you want me to write. With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy reading this story, and maybe you feel like adding something to it.

A monster is commonly defined as an imaginary creature that is typically described as large, ugly, and frightening. Many legends within human history across many cultures contain tales of such 'monsters', such as the Wendigo of North American folklore, the Oni of Japanese myth, and the Werewolf of Greek legend, but us humans, who are so small in the grand scheme of things, also use it to describe very real creatures that were beyond our initial scope of understanding. The giant squid, extinct ground sloth, and all species of dinosaurs have been described as monsters quite commonly, as we frequently misunderstood them.

However, that is only the literal sense of the word monster, whereas the figurative sense is far more disturbing. We use it to describe those who have done incomprehensible things throughout human history. These individuals are the condemned by nearly everyone else, aside from others who are sick and twisted. Many abandon them completely, aside from some psychologists who try to cure the uncurable in hopes of helping humanity as a whole. Many dictators such as Hitler, Mao, and Stalin have earned this moniker due to their genocide and brutal oppression of other people, but many murderers and rapists such as Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Ed Gein also are monsters thanks to their heinous acts.

Now, what if I asked you to combine these definitions, a monster that is as dark on the inside as it is on the outside. What do you come up with? The Lovecraftian horror Cthulhu, an Eldritch beast deep in the cosmos, or maybe even Lucifer himself.

However, I would first go with a monster yandere. One that seems more human than many of the beasts I mentioned previously, but is even worse deep down.

Now, who are you, to have one want you?
