"Damsel-in-distress" cliche

While inspecting the area, you heard a scream, which slightly reminded you of those cheap horror films which basically uses the same generic scream. You heard metal striking metal. And the smell… this nauseating smell is no doubt the scent of blood. Hearing the sound of warfare and the cries of soldiers enticed you to approach such scenario.

You got a closer look and what you see is the “damsel-in-distress” cliché. A group of small green men with long ears lead by a bigger green guy with an axe, probably goblins attacking a caravan. A lot of bodies litter the ground, mostly goblins, but you also spot sliced up body parts of humans in there. Not a lot much of humans are left considering that your “damsel” and a handful of soldiers are surrounded from all sides.

In this tree, you aren’t really visible to anybody and you can just tentacle your way out of here if you want. You can also see a couple of goblins engaging in **** women at the side of your vision, tsk tsk, how brutish, at least ask them on a date before that you know? One of the things you’ve realized is your lack of empathy to these dying humans before you. Damn, what have you become me?

Just then an arrow came hurtling towards the bigger goblin, which you can discern seems to be the leader of the group. A figure emerged from the background, along with four others.
