"Knight-in-shining armor" saves the day

Upon closer inspection, you make out that the first figure was a knight dressed in a rather unclean plate of armor. Behind him was what you think is a priestess and an elven archer based on their clothing and equipment. There was also a lizardman who looks like he could be some sort of priest and a dwarf… who looks quite magey.

The arrow to the eye was not enough to take down the big goblin however, it raised the axe that it was carrying and aimed towards the knight, threatening to smash him to the ground. Before the big goblin could do anything, a dagger flew straight through him, piercing cleanly through his unprotected throat as he fell limp. The remaining goblins had stopped their attack on the damsel and her soldiers, instead choosing to focus on this mysterious knight and his group.

Ah, classic. A “damsel-in-distress” with the “knight-in-shining-armor” saving the day. You suppose since no one had even seen you, you may just be able to slip out of this place unnoticed. You can help the knight face off against the goblins, but it seems you wouldn’t do much since they are no doubt already winning, not to mention the fact that they must be pretty unwelcoming to monsters. The goblins however, would appreciate your help by fending off their attackers.

Good god, what a headache.
