Chapter 4 by MCU-ENF-FAN MCU-ENF-FAN

Who is Xialing's Opponent

"....Mercury!"

As soon as her name was called, a woman with dark skin was sent into the caged arena. Her dark hair was put into a bun. A red bandana was also wrapped around her hair. She did seem to be wearing clothes that belonged to her, probably having to borrow them or make some sort of make-shift fighting attire. The shirt she was wearing seemed to be a little loose on, but the shorts, on the other hand, were too small. They clung to the woman's hips, thighs, and ass a little too well.

Upon spotting Xialing, the woman smirked before making some hand gestures. It took Xialing a while to realize that she was speaking in sign language, though it wasn't like she'd understand what was being said.

An hour and thirty minutes prior, Makkari was lounging in Domo. butt naked She lay on her chain reading a book, flipping through the pages at near the speed of light. When she got to the last page, she quickly closed the book and tossed it into a massive pile to the side of her. Makkari let out a sigh. She had reached peak boredom. Not only had she read through each book in that pile one hundred times in a single day, but spending thousands of years isolated in the Domo was finally getting to Makkari. She was going to have to make another supply run, not because she really needed anything, but because she wanted to add more to her collection of random items.

Makkari stood from her chair, her massive ass jiggling as she got up. Makkari then cupped her chin and began to think of places that she could go. There was no limit to where Makkari could travel with her super speed. In fact, she had basically been everywhere. The issue was more like, which place had something new that was worth seeing. That's when Makkari remembered something. She rushed around the Domo, searching every shelf in it until she found what she was looking for, an invitation. No, it wasn't an invitation sent to her directly, but instead one that she picked when on her "supply run".

On the invitation was an address for a club located in Macau, China. Makkari smiled as she looked at it. This should be a good waste of a couple of hours. Makkari was about to take off before she noticed herself in the mirror. She was still naked. This caused Makkari to smile sheepishly in embarrassment as a blush spread across her face. In one second, Makkari quickly put her clothes on. Leaving the Domo was a no-go. Not only because today Makkari was going to actually be hanging out at a location for more than a milisecond, but because Makkari wouldn't dare leave the ship without at least a pair of pants and a shirt. Regular people could barely register Makkari as blur whenever she moved, yet still, the concept of being naked in public, anyone possibly seeing her bare it all, it mortified Makkari.

Now clothed and with invitation in hand, Makkari ran off to the Golden Daggers Club. Running at a casual speed of 20,000 times the speed of sound, Makkari reached her destination in just a second. As Makkari entered the building, she saw a man standing in front of an elevator, so that must be how she got in. As she approached, the man held out his hand to stop her approach. He said something, which Makkari couldn't hear due to being deaf. Reading lips wasn't her specialty since she typically had the other Eternals act as interpreters for her, though using basic common sense, Makkari could understand that he was asking if she had an invitation.

Makkari pulled her invitation out of her pocket and handed it over to the man. He looked at it for a second or two before looking up at Makkari and saying something else. Makkari signed back, asking if he knew ASL, though she only got a confused look. The man then called for someone, probably another staff member, who hurried over with a pen and notebook. The staff member handed over the notebook to Makkari. The man then motioned to Makkari to follow him into the elevator, to which Makkari [obliged.

As](http://obliged.As) they rode up, the man pulled out his phone and typed something on it. He turned it over to show Makkari. Names Jon Jon and welcome to the Golden Daggers Club

Makkari smiled and scribbled something down. THANK YOU, ITS MY FIRST TIME VISITING.

Once they reached the top, the doors opened, revealing what type of club the Golden Daggers were. It was a fight club. Makkari stepped out of the elevator, her face in awe, as she looked around and saw all the fights going on. This club was far more exciting than she expected. What really caught her eyes, though, was the giant arena in the center. The current fight was some woman in a white full-body suit that could phase through things going against a giant planet monster. Makkari began to excitedly write it down in her notebook. JON JON, CAN I PARTICIPATE IN A FIGHT!

Oh, you're a fighter. Jon Jon wrote, to which Makkari responded with a nod. Well, I can check if we have any other newbies here and maybe step you up with an entry level fight. Jon Jon wrote as a began walking over to one of the smaller fight rooms.

Makkari pointed over to the large cage in the center with stars practically in her eyes. Jon Jon looked at her confusion and began typing. **That's for seasoned fighters or big name stars. You'll need to make your way up the ladder in order to get in there.

I'M A SEASONED FIGHTER. PLUS I'M REALLY, REALLY TOUGH AND HAVE A SPECIAL ABILITY!**

Jon Jon looked intrigued. That being?

A SURPRISE!!!! Makkari wanted to keep for super speed a secret for now, let her debut fight be her big reveal.

Jon Jon looked annoyed. You're a nice looking girl and all, but that's not really how things work around here. You'd have make a compelling argument to the boss.

Makkari gained playfully devious look on her face as she wrote something down and ripped the page of from the notebook, handing it over to Jon Jon. Jon Jon read it and looked up at Makkari with an raised eyebrow. Makkari smiled back in response. Not bothering to right anything down on his phone, Jon Jon began to walk away "You know what? Just for you, I'll send this over." Jon Jon called out, but it wasn't like she understood what he said.

With Jon Jon gone, Makkari began to mingle around with the people in the Golden Daggers Club. While at the bar, she finally found someone who could understand ASL. She now had an interpreter, which was good because Jon Jon just came back. You must be either the luckiest or unluckiest woman in the world, because you've got a fight with the boss.

Makkari looked over to her "interpreter" and signed to him. "Sounds good. When do I start?" The man replied to Jon Jon for Makkari.

"You understand her?"

"A little bit. I speak many languages, though I'm a little shaky on sign language."

"Well, tell her to get changed and get up there because their fight is starting soon." The man complied, Makkari making a confused face at being told to change her clothes. "Oh, and while you're at it, ask her what her name is."

"Shouldn't you have asked that first?" the "interpreter" asked, though nonetheless, he still asked Makkari in ASL. Makkari signed her name, which got a confused look from the interpreter, so Makkari simply signed her name again, this time a bit slower. "Her name is Mercury."

"Mercury?" Jon Jon raised an eyebrow

"Yeah, maybe its a stage name."

Jon Jon shrugged "Just send her to the changing room so she can get ready."

The "interpreter" led Makkari to the changing room and left so that she could change. Small issue though, Makkari didn't bring a change of clothing with her. Makkari looked down at her current outfit. Guess she'll just have to "borrow" from someone else. And with that, Makkari left the building in a flash to find her new attire. She'd be back before anyone noticed. - - - - - -

In present time, Makkari looked down at the clothes she just stole before looking back up at her opponent. Makkari's face was plastered with a smile, yet her opponent, Xialing, had a stern face. Makkari began to wonder what type of techniques or abilities the boss of this place had in store for her. After all, the caged arena was made for top fighters, after all.

Does Xialing live up to Makkari's expectations.
